Such a twat, sorry but you don't know any thing about the Doa series if you couldn't see the differences between the 2 & 3 series. You missed DOA unlimate too but I agree Mortal combat kicks this games ass.
theres not many games in your beat em up part 1,2 vids, thats a shame, theres so many wonderful beat em ups u have'nt covered, will there be any other parts, tekken 2 was incredible but no show
The DOA series has always been one of my favorite beat-em ups, i played doa 2 until my eyes melted and DOA 4 took my soul for many a month. Great review as always btw!
I've not played the latest one yet - in fact I need to grab a copy of DOA4, Soul Calibur 4 (?) and Virtua Fighter for the 360 - I've always focussed on the 2D fighters really and have neglected the current gens 3D (apart from SF IV of course!). As this gentleman says - DOA is more style over substance, certainly for the latest one it seems, that said I REALLY enjoy the Dreamcast version; still play it today..
Up the movies sucked ars

I've always found the DOA games to be more style than substance. Other beat em ups have much better and solid control of the characters.
7 out of 10 is a fair rating for the DOA series, a novice series imo.

yeh, the Dreamcast is the home of Beat em ups.
I have been playing Tatsunoko vrs Capcom on the Wii. It's more enjoyable than SF4 imo.
