  • I'm so confused after this one...

  • is this before his wife died

  • @hope0hurts No this is about his second wife.

  • @hope0hurts DUH!

  • @HoustonSoleCollector i actually found out that this was about his second wife. sooo no. not "duh"

  • bunch of sexually repressed whiners and teenagers can't understand that sex really isn't a big deal. Appreciate the wonderful poem.

  • @Eknoid4 If sex isn't a big deal, then why do we make such a big deal over it so often?

  • @Eknoid4 I disagree with you. My boyfriend is celibate, and it makes me feel so terribly unwanted. Like I'm not worthy of being desired.

  • @LadyeXo

My point wasn't that sex isn't a big deal in a relationship. My point was that sex is sex and it isn't the focal point of this poem. He isn't going out of his way to make dirty comments about having sex with her in front of her mother. The people saying THAT are the ones i was talking to and the ones who need to grow up. If you think this is about sex, you're an idiot. It's about love.

  • @Eknoid4 I agree with you completely here. Thanks for clarifying.

  • can not beleive he said that in front of her mother lol

  • @gigiperson123

Almost makes you wonder if he said that just because she was there.

  • Well...there must've been some running after that.

  • 4 ways not to write a poem...

1: talk about having sex with her infront of her mother...

    2.....

  • @HullioProductions alternatively:

    1. Convince her mother that her live-in partner is not shagging her...

    2.....

  • Haha, he's funny and a great poet! I can't help but wonder whether it was awkward for him to perform this in front of his mother-in-law...

  • This is the first poem I've heard him read that was dedicated to his new wife. =]

  • Oh my gosh. Was the whole audience visualizing her then, wearing or them... . He knows exactly which times require he leave the stage, immediately. heh. Love his gifts.

  • I love this poem! You, Mr. Mali, are my favorite poet.

  • This is so lovely and wonderful. Thank you again Mr. Mali.
