@SorthAtlantic Sort of, yeah. But it's only a tiny little part. I can't begin to imagine what else there is in there. He's still relatively young though, so he'll probably write many more books :)
Thanks Nancy for this great interview of one of my favourite writers. It always amazes me how such a thoughtful and powerful writer and gentleman could at first glance be mistaken for a soccer hooligan.
@noctalla reminds me of the 'dealing with the deamon' scene in perdido st station. funny that China's 'real' voice would be a crying babie's rather than what the demon had, a tortured man.
I want to take a vacation inside his brain.
