Jamie Stewart is absolutely qualified to cover this song. If someone doesn't think so, I think that person should revise why they even like Joy Division in the first place.

I can understand somebody hating the vocals; it's an acquired taste. The rest of the song is sensitive and spasmatic in a very controlled sense. This is a freakout song, not to be listened to while in a normal mood.
@treyflipordie Herm. Maybe you should give a listen to the Radiohead's one or even the Germany Germany's version. This is one is crappy. It dishonors the original version, I definitely hate this version !
@Dirt182 Radiohead's was good but it was so close to the original that I have to ask what the point of it was. I'm more for covers that change it up a bit. That being said, I'm not overly fond of Xiu Xiu's cover either.
