  • MY friend David Ames is 13 and could run probably faster or maybe as fast as this person. His team in their 3 years in the league is 26-1, their only loss coming in the first game they ever played. 4.74-40? David runs somewhere around that. I'd love to see these two teams play....My team is his rival but still gotta respect them. Also, is Ramos's team a one-man-team? Or are they altogether good like do they have other good players?

  • is that every play run the ball to him or throw it he would be way more effective if you spread the ball use play action and have a power back and a fast back like him they'd be unstoppable

  • Beast!

  • really good running the rock . if you want to see other nice plays search Gio Richardson or WCLF Gio Richardson he is # 24 he is 10 years old. i would like to see both these kids meet up in college.

  • BEAST!!!

  • He's very talented and a a really good ball player. Will see what he does in highschool when playing againt's the top teams in texas for state championships with stellar defences.

  • If he is what 200lbs he should not be able to carry the ball. unless it is high school. You have linemen smaller than him on the line. Well he is fast so keep him at Tight End or something. But great video, good kid.

  • i can catch daniel and tackle him

  • bitches cant tackle

  • Wish I was dat big I'm 5'1 and 100 and run a 4.6 I'm 13

  • great speed, good field vision. this probably wont matter but try to focus on him hitting the holes harder to get him prepared for highschool where people will catch up in speed. i noticed him shying outside on almost every run play, wont work in highschool where he will have to follow and read his blockers. great ball player though

  • @drj1967

5'7" and 190 lbs? that's insane weight to height ratio. cool though.

What about 40 yard dash? is he strong? how much can he bench/squat etc?

Please get back to me. and he seems really good.

  • Nice strong stiff arm.

  • Greeeeat Vision!!!

  • Hes good but you likes to reverse field to much.. not midget league but good vision nice footwork

  • damn ha i wish i was that big im 5 foot and 95 pounds and a pretty good running back. nice vid tho!

  • Awesome ball carrier vision!! And for all the people saying that the other players aren't that good, it's because he's on a whole other level then the kids his age. He's playing at couple grades higher than his.

  • BEAST

  • hes a great player/athelete. im the same age. im barely thirteen. 5/9 155lbs. and im the same positons. check my highlights. that was before my trainer. now i have an amazing college football stud as my trainer. well i with the best of luck to him. hes a good athelete. god bless

  • in onalaska wisconsin we have a better rb than him hes going to be freshman and plays football with me his name is alex gums and he is a serious tank hes faster than this guy and can run over almost anyone we play against. hes pretty much the adrian peterson of 9th grade u can look him up on facebook

  • This young man has incredible size for his age. His speed is good for that size. I believe we will be seeing him on Saturdays. Good Job to his parents for his academic status.

  • he good but it seems his competition isnt all that good

  • All of his TDs happens cuz of offensive lineman.

  • Brains, Speed, Vision and Power. God has really blessed this kid.

  • how tall was he in the 8th grade and how much did he wiegh?

  • how tall is daniel?

  • @ParanoidGuy19 - Daniel is 5"7 and weighs 190 lbs.

  • i can see him in the nfl in the future

  • Saw this video was a response to Tre' "lil Hit" watson so i checked it out. Must say this kid is much faster than Tre, but this could be due to age because at this stage in development we all know that every year they get faster and faster. he is a year older so... Tre is better fundamentally, runs with much better pad level and much better cut backs, and field vision. Not to take anything from Daniel though because this kid is good too. Would like to see better pad level out of him though.

  • 1:18 nice

  • chk out "jalen olomua" ten yrs old.

  • he is a great running back i will give him that, amazing full-field vision but i cant help notice that he isnt facing kids that are as good as him i mean he stutter steps and the kid trips over his own feet. very good though, just need to be playing against his level of talent

  • @SuperMyles161 -Well, he is playing against kids his age and in the public schools. You can visit his video for 2011 and see him play at the 8th grade level. He continues to do what you in this video. He will be in high school this year. We can compare him again this fall. Thanks for stopping by.

  • how he run at the 40 yard dash?

  • @4moneysmile -When Daniel was in the 7th grade, we never got a 40 time. He is in the 8th grade and runs a 4.74.

  • @drj1967 thts really good

  • dude awsome but dont get **CHUBBY**

  • Man that's really good

  • hes really good, way to shake off those defensive backs! the most i scored in one season was 52! hes pretty good, maybe ill meet him in the nfl.

  • Daniel is a great running back. I think he could go pro if he trys. I would like to see him make it there. I really wish i could run the ball like him. Keep up the good work

  • @Slayer8879 - Thanks Slayer8879 for the encouragement. He is working hard to make God's plans for his life a reality.

  • @Slayer8879 have fun being a running back in youth and maybe high school. He will be a very good linebacker with his speed. concentrate on that and he will have a good future.

  • Top 30 tds right in one season?

  • @smlly911 - Yes, Daniel played for two championship teams. He scored well over 50 td's in 2009 season. I believe he scored 58 but I am not quite sure. His coaches kept count and told me after the season was over. If you would like to, check out Daniel's football video for 2010. I think you will enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by.

  • @drj1967 This guy is veryy Good Please tell him, The most i scored was 35 in one football season for just one yeaer and its just been recent i just want to see if i can keep up with a good athlete like him

  • WOW , THis kid is NO JOKE ! Not to take anything away from him or anything but those kids that he is playing .. . are pretty damn small & AFRAID.

Check Out " NY WARRIORS FOOTBALL JAYLEN YOUNG "

  • He goes to school in my district we didn't play them this year, he is good though.

  • cool check out my vids.I play youth football.I'm a runningback,and a linebacker.

  • Dang this kid is a frikkin beast

  • daniel is a great athlete he runs hard and tackles well keep up the good work most these youtube videos are kids that really arent that good hes a exception check my sons our Rudy Maestas 2010

  • @bigrude26 - Daniel appreciates the kind words. It will encourage him to continue pushing himself to do better. He realizes that he has much to improve on and will continue to work hard. Again, thank you for your post. I will check out Rudy Maestas. By the way, check out Daniel's new video for this year. Look up: 2010-Youth football, Phenominal Running Back/Linebacker, Daniel Ramos, III., Highlights. Thanks for stopping by.

  • nice ide like to see him steam roll someone tho. im 14 6 1 and 225 im playing running back next yeah for my freshman year

  • @woodpusher329 -If you would like to see him steamroll someone, enter his full name (Daniel Ramos, III) and you will see his 2010 highlights. I think you will enjoy the video and some steamrollling as well.

  • In my opinion this kid is future NFL running back

  • no offence to you if its your kid or anything but most of the kids that he is playing against couldent commit and get low and tackel him hes a great running back and im shure one day he will get a scholorship but i was just saying like when he stiff armed those kids they didnt know how to get low and hit him in his legs i play middle school football too and no offence but he woulent have gotten past our defence like that no harm too you great running back keep it up kid

  • Stephen Jackson is that you?

  • 1:22 - #28 has to be the tallest middle school football player I have ever seen lol

  • where r the parts of him being a linebacker

  • @MotorHead1120 - If you put Daniel's name in the search engine on youtube, you will find the last two years of Daniel playing running back and linebacker. I think you will enjoy them. This years video of highlights will be great too. Be looking for them in the next couple of weeks.

  • daaaanggg...tht dudes like..unstoppable.

  • Damnnnnnnnnn! Always a fan, from cali. Big and fast. Nice! A bright future awaits this young man. Keep coaching him up and getting him the extra work in in the offseason and you may have a D1 stud some day. How is he doing so far this year?

  • @raydrzz - He is having another great year. His junior high school has been dominating. He only gets about a quarter or so to play before they pull him out. We are normally up by 20 or more points in the first half. I will be posting another video in about a month. You will enjoy watching this years video. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. We appreciate it!

  • just a kid that matured faster than everyone else, see them all the time he will do well in high school but nothing like middle school trust me

  • lol at number 33 - 6:34 DEFENSE FAIL

  • @efon39 he goes to my school we he is hispanic

  • he clearly is just much bigger then everyone else and pre maturely grew, i guarantee everyone will catch up to him by highschool

  • Maybe if every hit puberty not just him..

  • Hes that good and White????

  • @Efon33 Ain't got nothin' to do with it.

  • now put him up against a good D that knows how to wrap :)

  • bugati + tank= this kid

  • @drj1967 Of course and I wish him the best.

  • @drj1967- When your looking at any kid this age, you are looking at potential. At this age, things are starting to line up. I understand what your saying about the age of the athlete but colleges start early. They are looking at many factors including academics. Recently at some national sports camps, Daniel was timed and tested. Based on these measurements, they can make some deductions not predictions. For example. Daniel benched 250 pounds on the bench press.

  • @drj1967 Do they feel he continue to get stronger or weaker? He ran a 4.8 40 yard dash. Do they feel he will get slower or faster. This applies to all the other timed and strength tests they gave him. In other words, if what you say is true that they are still growing and developing, then you can make some general assumptions about the direction of any athlete. This was Daniel's second year playing running back and linebacker. They believe he will continue to get better and so do I>

  • @drj1967 of course i believe there is always room for improvement. This is my point in the earlier post. The only thing to worry about is a bad coach and or team. Does he play other sports? It's also good to let kids at this age experience other sports so they can build muscles not used in the sport they are playing. who knows he may fall in love with baseball in highschool. :)

  • @deepluv2kvi Right now, Daniel is participating in track. He runs the 100m, 4x1, 200m, throws the discus and shotput. He qualified for each even in district and was district champion in shotput ( he broke the district record) and the 4x1. He placed second in discus and placed in the top six in all the other events. Not bad for an athlete that was running at 195lbs.

  • @drj1967 -In fact, there are videos of Daniel breaking some district records in shotput and discus on youtube. Check them out. This was his first year throwing. He did great!

  • @drj1967 Oh yea, there are videos of the 4x1 relay too!

  • Not saying he's bad but the kid only runs to the outside hitting the sideline creating distance between him and the outside linebacker. In 90% of his runs he makes an effort to run the sideline. This is more strategy than talent.

  • @deepluv2kvi @deepluv2kvi - That's the point. If you have speed, you create distance. He is playing in a competitive 5A district. Obviously, you do not understand what you are seeing. Daniel is being pursued by prep schools, local high schools, and has already received letters of interest from the pac-10 and the big east. I will trust the opinions of those who are in the business of evaluating talent.

  • @drj1967 I can tell you're either his father or trainer. In either case I respect your evaluation of him. What I'm giving is my opinion. I have seen him play in person and not just on film. There are tons of fast kids out there who have great abilities. I believe you can't make predictions from someone at the age of 11, 12 or 13. They are growing into their bodies and over a couple of years it will change again. YouTube is flooded with children promoted as "the next big star" who will fade away.

  • @deepluv2kvi Daniel's videos don't tell the whole story. Often, you find kids with talen, but little discipline to make it to the next level. Daniel has graduated from each grade level in MISD as their top male student. What makes coaches excited about him is what he brings off the field. If you have seen him play in person, then you are only seeing half of what he does. By the way, we are not making predictions. We can clearly see what God has done for him and where He is taking him.

  • as big as he is i whant to see more truck stick

  • Mike Alsott wit stoopid speed

  • That Stiff Arm around 6:14 was CRUCIAL ahahaha

  • you cant say he is gonna play college ball for sure because he is just one fast kid in a bunch of uncoordinated little 7th graders

  • Hits the holes very well! Good vision and great agility.

  • bros an beast rember his name in 10 years he'll be up in the pros

  • anyone could run on under sized team... If his team played 5A or 6A football out of Alabama, they would get run into the ground.

  • @mrcleanup2008 -Man, everyone knows that the best football players come out of Texas, California and Florida. We are playing 5A football here in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. You should read the bio before you make comments. By the way, these boys are in 7th grade.

  • @drj1967 the kids he's playing against are still small and lazy. They dont' know the fundamentals completly at this point. Bad coaching of course. You still have to give it up to the O-line.

  • Hey so where can i get his autograph before he turns pro? haha... Best NFL prospect I've seen in many years...Keep working hard.

  • he should really thank his O-line they do a great job of clearing paths.... he doesn't have to create much.... it will be interesting to see how he develops... but he has some tools and looks like he can be talented, but its clear he had alot of learning to do...

  • blue youre a beast bro. soon they will be going crazy for YOU like rock band!!!!! guess who this is?!

  • great vision! moves, speed, stiffarms, great runningback keep it up. i play football too in houston check out "hector sandoval #23 kingwood"

  • I gotta give it to em this kids good!.!.! And he's smart, you don't see many kids like that.... Just keep given god thanks fa your ability's... and TCU is not a bad school even though I wanna go to lsu haha

  • @lambomb222 Please! Everyone knows that the best football players come out of Texas, Florida and California and here you go bragging about Washington. We have a gpsyfl here in Texas too! Get your facts straight. By the way, this video is only a sample of td's for last year. Daniel played select football and for public school. What you see is video from both select and public football. He dominated in both.

  • @lambomb222 -Post a video. I told you talk is cheap! If your any good and have any highlights, then you should have a video.

  • Still beasting.

  • Hes good, he has good ball carrier vision, teach him more physical play, if he cant make contact and run people over just improve him at LB! Hes really good though, type in Melrose Park Gaels and see the 2007 peewee video #77, amazing truck around the 4 minute mark ;D

  • Hey Daniel, Im from Cali and just want to say great running just remember to use football to get a better education and if it turns u pro its a blessing! Liked the other one too when ur a LB! Whatever position u end up playing keep that same intensity. GOOD LUCK!

  • @hurricaneaasu-I appreciate your words to Daniel. Playing football is a means to an end-getting your education. We live in Arlington, Texas and Daniel wants to play for TCU. He is a devout Christian and graduated last year from intermediate school as Valedictorian. God has blessed him. Again, thank you for your words of encouragement.

  • hes big

  • Love that stiff arm he used at 6:18. This kids fast.

  • How old is he? he's fast and strong

  • Daniel was 12 years old in this video. As of today, Daniel turned 13 a couple of months ago and is in the 7th grade.

  • Thank you

  • he may be fast but if he cant truck people he aint gonna do nothin!! but he is pretty good

  • wow. he will go a long ways in football. how many touchdowns has he scored in a season.

  • Daniel scored well over 50 touchdowns this past season.

  • that's crazy.

  • You are fast, kid, and look strong, let see you run over more people. How fast are you in the 40 yrd dash?

check Dallas Herring 8th grade video out,

  • Daniel ran a 4.9-40 yard dash in 6th grade. Daniel ran a 4.8 40 yard dash a few months ago at 175 lbs. He is now 180 lbs. We have not timed him for a couple of months. He is in a strength training regimen and is working on gaining more strength during the off-season. We will not time again until the summer.

  • By the way, the goal of every runner is to carry the ball past the goal line. That means that being elusive, having good speed, good vision, and powerful running all factor into being a good back. Running over people is necessary but can shorten the career of any runner. It is better to combine all of your skills to score and to never let a tackler get to close to your body.

  • This kid is great, I am a defensive end and played 3 yrs of D2 ball and play semi-pro ball in Colorado now, his field vision is phenominal and he is very disiplined (I can never tell which hole he's going to hit before the snap). He's been well coached and gifted, hope he maintains a good diet and doesn't hit a growth stunt. For now he's D1 bound!!!

  • I appreicate your remarks. Daniel is always encouraged to read remarks from other players who have had success playing football, and can see his hard work and dedication to the sport. Daniel is a dedicated athlete who loves the game, and if the Lord will say so, he will go on to play D1 football. Thanks again for your kind words and comment to his video.

  • My advise for Dallas Herring is to learn how to use a stiff arm. You are losing lots of yards on the field.

  • come on, he needs to start running over people! run through the middle more!

  • this kid is nuts, id like to see him in highschool

  • Beast Mode! I hope this guy gos far with this game and if he can go to the nfl. ^^

  • wow this kid is amazing at his age. I want to see him during high school though. He's great on both defensive and offense. keep him on the right track in school and he'll be good. oh and for that dobbsfootball kid, haha he's no way close to being as good as daniel.

  • i would say hes good but the other teams literally let him score, they dont run fast the dont hit hard and they dont wrap him up.

  • just keep his grades up and he should go far in this sport =D

  • These kids trying to tackle him, suck. ;D

  • That's the point. He is very difficult to tackle. Daniel has a great combination of speed, size and strength. He is the strongest athlete at his junior high that includes 7th and 8th grade at any weight. Daniel is in 7th grade. He weights 175 lbs and is very fast. He is one of the fastest kids in school. For sure, there is no one faster who weights more than 140lbs. in the city of mansfield at his age.

  • I actually want to see how good he'll be in high school. I has amazing potential and i see a bright future for him. :)

  • nice running but what type of people are trying to tackel him like really form tacklin goes along way if my tteam was playin him hed be out cuz therse guys tackle uptop

  • we'll see when he plays varsity. hes bigger than all of these pop warner kids. hes just big. not fast and its not fair to the smaller kids. if he does good later then ill say hes good

  • @AZNGOTDAGOODS

You obviously don't understand what your seeing. Daniel is one of the fastest boys in the DFW area. Just ask his track coach at school, his select track coach, and a host of other coaches who will testify to just how fast he is. Daniel is 12 years old, runs hand-timed 40 in 4.9 consistently and weights 175 pounds. Think about that. That is the average weight for high school running backs. Again, he is 12 years old and is getting bigger and stronger.

  • nice, check out my mini highlight reel, going to have real highlights like this one soon, i think you guys are going to like me if you like this guy, i run with the same style he does

  • this kid iz a man child OMG!

  • OMG LOOK AT THE KID AT 9:43 (HES HUGE!!)

  • Damn Nice Running!!! I Can really appreciate hard running like this....and yes May GOD Continue to Bless you!!!

  • nice running boy id like to face you and see how u compare to me and my freind. like to try to crack u. nice running

  • Best part is the series at 9:18. Watch the player and the opposing coach on the sideline after #34 does the handspring and keeps going...

  • thats perfect running right there
