I haven't seen anyone hold the bow in the left hand and the violin with the right before. Were the strings in a different order as well? EADG instead of GDAE?

It's filmed from a mirror, that's why evrything looks in the wrong side, even the accordion and the T shirt.

Actually, a Right Handed Violinist would hold their bow in their Right Hand. I would know. I play violin and I'm right handed.
I'm guessing the violin he has is made for left handed. Notice how his more higher notes are closest to his shirt and his lowest note is on the top? It's the opposite for a right handed violinist.
