it is a simply wonderful song... always thing Tom Jones is best on ballads but he will tackle anything. This is beautiful. My favourite version was the 1969 recording by the late Dorothy Squires
all the singers from this time period are much better than the ones today because, they studied under the masters. all the way up to the early 90's,after that, every body started to rely on image, not talent
Tom Jones is without a doubt One of the Greatest! Absolutely beautiful version of Autumn Leaves. Very, very LOVELY & ROMANTIC song!
Guys & gals, spark it up with candles, roses, champagne & cheek to cheek dancing with your partner & voila! Happy Valentine's day to all......Happy Valentine Tom, love you!
lol Are you people aware of the fact that whenever Tom and Elvis were performing in Vegas at the same time, their show times were different. They woyuld see each other's shows and get toghether afterwards.
TJ is putting on a vocal "clinic" here. How to sing a song, personalize it, massage the lyrics, take a note up...take a note down low...tone, range, an absolute masterpiece of singing. By any standard this is supreme talent. Never to be seen or heard again....like this 1965 version of Autumn Leaves by the great Tom Jones!
Over the last 6 years my life has been rather tough to say the least. My wife of 15 years left me, saying she no longer wanted to be married. No one else involved. No domestic stuff. She'd changed. I was devestated. I had an operation 2 amputate my left leg below the knee b4 that. The words of this song are very poignant and I am in floods everytime I hear it. The Eva Cassidy version is particularly moving. Time is a greaty healer? I'm 3 years on, and I still don't really feel any better. X
every time i hear this song...i really miss my beloved parents who both passed away...i cried alot if i could bring back the time...just like superman..hahaha
"The sunburned hands I used to hold . . ." One of popular music's most haunting lyrics. Jones displays great sensitivity to the song, but one is left with the feeling that today he would do greater justice to its sense of loss and longing. Nat Cole graced it with understated eloquence. Today, Jones would doubtless do the same.
Oh Tom... even with hokey camera angles & trying to look pensive while fiddling around with his mic cord during the instrumental interlude... He still captures the imagination! *deep sigh*
Tom Jones'un bu şarkıyı iki kez yorumladığını bilmiyordum.Gönderen arkadaşa sonsuz teşekkürler.Bir şarkı ancak bu kadar güzel seslendirilebilir.Çok büyüksün Sir...
Look, I won't lie. I prefer Nat King Cole's version of this song. But do I love Tom Jones. You bet your sweet cookies. Tom took this song and he made it his own. Always a joy to listen to the Master Tom at work. Always. Thank you for the video!!!

Tom Jones did an excellent interpretation of this song "Autumn Leaves" here.
Clearly I agree with many fellow opinion posters here, that Tom Jones is in the tops in the field of male vocalists.
He ix extremely gifted with great tone, treat range, great creative skill, great personality.
I discovered (by accident) Holland Mariah Grossman singing a very interesting interpretation of Autmn Leaves here on YouTube.
Her voice is beautiful and her phrasing is quite interesting.
