i had a catfish stick me right in the middle of my thumb and the barb broke off in my thumb. 2cm of barb was in my thumb and i just wrapped it in some twine and continued fishng. 2 days later i went to the emergency room. the numbing shit hurt more goin in then the barb.and my hand was numb for two days. 3 stitches later and some pills i was fixed up just like new. except for a scar that goes all the way down the middle of my thumb.life lesson # 100000,always bring thick gloves while fishing
