  • peas lol...it smells like frozen peas :)

  • it's better to make it with warm water.

  • uummm..im preeeety sure u shud let the indigo sit atleast 20 mins or so untill the top turns a blueish colour.

  • I thought I could make my hair blue. Darn It!

Well your video was well done anyway.

  • hey, Tammy! :-)

love the videos, watched them all - thanks for the tips.

    Q:

    i can't find a SOURCE for the ground-indigo?

any on-line retailers? Thanks, - terry

  • @gadfly72 Hello Terry! Sure, google butters n bars and go to this website. This site has everything you'll need. Good luck!

  • Yes you mix the henna (with something acidic) first because it has to sit for some time to release the dye. Then mix indigo with water and mix henna and indigo. To get black, very little henna and lots of indigo. Google henna for hair and you will find a wealth of information about henna and indigo. Thanks for watching!

  • So you can mix Indigo + Henna together at the same time??? so the get BLACK more Indigo less Henna Right?? thanks

  • @SoundOut260 if u want all black, u do henna first, wash it out, then do indigo....2 step process

  • Online from butters and bars. Just google it and the website will pop up. Let me know how you like using indigo!

  • where do you get the indigo from ??

  • Yea!!! I'm glad it worked out!

  • Okay, i've applied it for the second time. I think I didn't leave it in long enough but it has covered most of the greys and has added some nice properties to my hair. So I'm a believer. I think after some more applications it will get more and more brown and cover more and more.

  • Have to let sit on the hair 4 to 6 hours... you'll get it right.

  • Thanks for you videos. Very useful. I'm going to try this mix for the first time this weekend. I'm hoping for a nice brown colour as well.

  • @drakezen Let me know how it turns out!

  • Hmmm, something went wrong in my process. I am going to try it again. For some reason after mixing the indigo and henna and having it sit in my hair for two hours nothing really changed. The colour was only slightly modified but didn't catch on my white hair at all.
