Once in the keygen, go to PRODUCT NAME and click the down arrow. Continue on through the products until you find VEGAS PRO 8.0a (Build 179), click that. Now, you're going to have to click the PATCH button located at the bottom left of the keygen. Click, the file in which the trial was installed into. This should be under your Hard Drive, and the file Sony. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN DUDE???? THERE'S NO FILE CALLED SONY!!!!!!!!

i found out why it does not work. If you save it to your desktop and patch it there. It does not fully patch it because u are not patching all the programs. To patch it properly u have to go to user then go to programs and find it, Then u patch it. It should then work for the last code if u need anymore help message me

Everybody having issues with "error patching the file(s)" not working, here is what to do.

You need to extract and install sony vegas in the file, then when you go to patch it into the file it will work.

Please thumb this up so people can view this, I see a lot of people having the problem I did and I've found a solution. You're welcome. :)
