More like mistranslated. The whole "weeaboos" thing that most fans complain about is one thing, and pretty tolerable. However, when hipsters get into anime, or any media for that matter, it gets sickening. Ever seen a hipster translation of an anime? It's unbearable, since every other word is often one cuss or another. And don't get me started on hipsters who are into video games.
