I love reading comments saying that damage doesn't matter because you shouldn't crash anyway. Yet they go on to claim that GT5 is the best console sim out there. I am sorry but to simulate real life, you need everything, including damage. Forza has damage on every car. It may not be the best out there but it has it. GT5 has laughable amounts of damage. Fail Turismo 5 strikes once again.

The physics of GT5 are focused on simulating vehicle dynamics under normal high performance driving situations which it has captured immaculately, but the crashing physics are obviously an afterthought, but anyone who complains about the crashing physics is obviously not someone with a lot of experience with or appreciation of high performance driving/racing. Real racers and good drivers don't crash enough to care.

I admit, obviously the damage/crashes are flawed, but there are SO many cars, and even Standard models are good, also, there's lots of content. Theres A-Spec, B-Spec, licenses, special events, and every week there's new races/time trials etc.

Forza 3 = Better racing game

GT5 = Better racing simulator

But for some people simulators are much funner than for people who just want a racing game with crashes and big flashy colours.
