The leader will be the south becuase the commies failed. The north and south will reunified and without the reunification Korea would stretch only so far. "A divided nation can be easily conquered!" Kim Jong-Ill need to step down!!
As heartfelt as the singers' message may be, the ROK will never achieve Korean reunification as long as it continues its bullheaded "Sunshine" policy.
I don't know about that. Both the DPRK and ROK want reunification and all of my friends that are South Koreans and the overall feeling toward the North and vice versa is just a feeling of love and desperate seperation anxiety. They are brothers and can not stay seperated for much longer, I think a compromise will be reached.
Compromise? Look at what the DPRK has done to its own citizens, and then tell me if a "compromise" can be reached with the madman Kim Jong Il and his ilk.
Of course, many Koreans (from both the North and the South) want reunification. But who's going to be the leader of Korea after it is unified? And what kind of government will he or she strive to uphold?
