What RF diode did you use? I have looked through the comments and still cannot find anything on ebay or google from the keyword searches. Do you have a brand and part number?
Wikipedia "/wiki/Vatican_Radio_lawsuit"the most common complaints are that one can hear the transmissions breaking through on telephones, and many other electronic devices (due in many cases to the devices having poor electromagnetic immunity to the strong signals). People in the area around the emitters are much more likely to have leukemia.
I am currently trying to build one of these, but i cant get figure out how exactly you have everything connected, for example LED and diode polarity. Im using a salvaged germanium diode, would that work? ive tried other types of diode and had no luck either. Also, does wire length have an affect for the antenna?
It look like galena radio, is very cool, can you show a schematic conection of this circut? I'm tried with some ideas but I cant understand what you really made. Is a very interesting circuit.
pretty cool. Thanks for the upload. Now where is that damn RF Diode at? lol

where do u get the rf dioide? I cant find it and how do you connect the twin wires?
infonator1 3 months ago
germanium diode: Maplin Electronics: QH71N
On a new LED the long lead
is the positive (anode) while the short lead is the
negative (cathode). The germanium diode has a
line (band) around the end which is the cathode.
When correctly wired the LED and the germanium
diodes are connected so they both allow current
to pass in the same direction... hope this helps!

Cell phone only putts off about 500 mW of power. That's not "very powerful" and LED only takes a small amount of energy to light up.

i was discovered how u made that thing. you put the led in parallel with the rf diode. i used germanium diodes and it works too!
