  • Tip: dont rinse them, it rinses away alot of the flavor along with some nutritional value. the natural slimy juices on the seeds also hold salt and spices better and give them a better crisp in the oven.

  • last year after we made the jack o lantern we took the seeds and roasted them with cinnamon they taste better that way

  • I'm glad you posted this video because I just bought a couple of pie pumpkins. I don't celebrate Halloween but they had the pie pumpkins next to the carving pumpkins. I'm going to roast the seeds. I never did that before so I'm looking forward to the healthy snack.
