He prolly quit because he felt he should have been the starting qb in denver till he retired, he wouldn't even play for anyone else, instead he got benched by someone who wanted to play for someone else the whole time, What a waste of talent in two different ways :( I never liked that it was Cutler over Plummer, Plummer did so much for us in just a few yrs, how the hell could you let some little chump like jay take over? Although Plummer wasn't flashy, he found ways to win games.

Now I can understand why Shannahan got Fired, Benched Jake when he was good and wanted to play his whole career here and benched him for a crap guy who wanted to leave. I agree Plummer had good numbers and he led us to the Playoffs. And he was not flashy he was a very humble man who won games Maybe Jake Plummer for Head Coach after MCD sucks and gets fired
