Condit's a good fighter, but he doesn't have the TDD or grappling skills against the upper echelon, eg GSP, Shields, Fitch. Condit doesn't have the grappling ability to match GSP.  Condit poses no threat to GSP on the ground. Most likloey GSP would continuously take Condit down and beat him the exact same way he beat Alves, Hardy.

Condit had a tough time with Macdonald, and Macdonald is nowhere near GSP's level. Condit poses no threat to GSP on the ground. GSP will win by 5 rounds of lay and pray.

Carlos is far from inexperienced! He's 27-5. He loves to fight. I doubt he will wait that long to fight again. The winner of GSP vs Diaz is too far away. @mammarybomb What raises GSP a level above his competition is his superior athletic ability. Unfirtunately nobody in the division comes close to GSP in terms of athletic ability. The only weakness that I see in GSP's game is is maybe a suspect chin. I admit his fights aren't exciting, but he always exposes weaknesses in his opponents game. Big credit to his head trianer Firaz Zahabi. GSP most likely would beat Condit on the ground with explisive takedowns and ground control.

It's too bad if Condit gets a shot, because he could be a great training partner to help prepare GSP for Diaz, given the style similarities. Both men are good boxers with good BJJ skills, both are finishers, and about the same size and both are really aggressive and work well under pressure.
