Usually when I see dachshund pics and videos they look nothing like mine, or they look like their face is different... It's hard to see the face, but I think I've finally found one that looks like mine! =o But who knows the face could be different.

Also, it sounds like jealousy to me. My puppy cries like crazy whenever I babysat our neighbor's dog and was in their yard. And we can't afford a fence so he can't just come by the fence or outside.

My 2 weiners cry the same way. they are awesome little dogs. I have always had bigger dogs but i have friends that had weiners and i was offered a male and female for free so i took em and im glad i did. tons of energy and have awesome personalities.

When my one dachsund, female, is alone or she doesn't know where anyone is, she just howls and sounds almost like "I want my momma". Dachsunds are real cute I do have to say, I have 2 and a Boxer.

i remember my dog EMO when the TYPOON "ONDOY" hot the philippines.. she was crying similar to this then when i came to check her .. the water was almost on her neck i was so terrified that i lifted her cage by myself .. her cage is 1 1/2 my weight .. then all out relatives dogs was taken to our house on the moment the flood grew... so we where like housing 40+ dogs on our house thankfully the water didnt go that deep so all the dogs where kept dry... my dachshund is our warning device

my longhaired dachsund cries like this too, and other times it's a persistent breathy whine just under his breath. he's very smart and only does it when he wants something, usually to go outside. i love him so much but the whining can really be annoying sometimes! lol

It's Weird how long haired daschunds/weiner dogs cry like that. I have 3 Short Haired Daschunds, and there cries aren't as scratchy and annoying. It seems like the dog in this video's voice is really rough. My grandma has a long haired daschund and she cries just like the one in this video.

Weiner dogs are just what people typically call them.

Doxie is another pet name for the term Dachshund too.

Dachsunds do not sound like that. Besides, it was evident that a Turkey devise was used to simulate it. I have a few dachshnds and neither one of them sounds like a turkey. On top of that, the "whining" did not match the dog's movement. Hence the excessive whine while yawning. Blah!
