Actually, Mr. Famous did have one Navi in the anime: HeatMan... but only for one episode.

He gave the HeatMan data to Mr. Match to save FireMan/TorchMan's remains from completely disintergrating into digital dust after a close encounter with FreezeMan in a net sewer. Yeah, that episode was shown twice with two different perspectives (totally filler, though, except it does explain where HeatMan came from), one showing Lan's and the other showing Mr. Match's.

Punk is an event only chip...? I'm sorry, that's bad game design. :/ If an item is in the game data then it should be available for a person to earn. Doing something like that is very bad practice, and yet it doesn't stop game companies from continuing to do that. It's a shame really. You'd think after so long someone on the inside would call them out on it. Oh well. Enjoyable video as always Roahm. Looking forward to more soon.

That Punk fight looked like the most fun one yet. Tough but otherwise fair and fast-paced without being spastic like Beastman.

Heh, Higsby showed up later than I expected. I also didn't think he would technically be using child labor, but that's another matter entirely. Moral ambiguity, huh!

@CivilKenears The Japanese version called him YamatoMan, which technically is his real name. He was based on Yamato Man, a Robot Master from Mega Man 6. This is why his chips are all coded Y.

I usually hack Punk in by the time you can get a few V2s of other Navis, so it is not quite as broken compared to the others.

With a certain wristband item (that can in fact be obtained now) in your inventory, Punk's chip gains an input that lets him inflict 600 unboosted damage, unavoidale by normal means. That's more damage than (SPOILER?) Bass/Forte+ or Alpha/ProtoArmΩ. If that wasn't enough, it also has one input that gives 400 damage, non-flinching and confuses at the same time. I'd say that's great for a standalone Megachip. But still not as awesome as the Varsword =P

@megamanenm Not really an odd thing, that. He's based on Punk, one of the Mega Man Killers from the Classic series. Punk appeared as a special boss in Mega Man III for the Game Boy, and later appeared as a special DLC boss for Mega Man 10. He was the only one of the three Mega Man Killers to get a Navi counterpart.
