The Bible was used to justify slavery, miscegenation, and anti-misogyny laws for centuries and scripture itself dictates as righteous what is now considered debunked thinking. The Bible told me so is an archaic argument. Biblical arguments, such as yours, are tired. Frankly, they have been the templates used for generations to justify some of the most heinous acts of human kind and are now being used for similar purpose in the gay arena. Biblical justification of bigotry is still bigotry.
