nah the hood ornaments arnt easy to steel. u basically have to break into the car, pop the hood, then un bolt it from beneath. goodluck doing all that without anyone seeing
kurtthewurt, no, I NEVER go to the dealer unless absolutely necessary. I'll pass on their high prices!! Performance Products, I believe, is where I bought the last hood ornament.
That's why, if you have enough money to spend, get an AMG version.. Instead of the hood ornament, You get a big, robust, mean-looking, and sexy mercedes logo set-in to the grill. It really makes the car look mean. :D AMGs ROCK! :D
Or you could just buy a grille with the star in it. To me the only Mercedes cars that should have the star on the grille are the two door cars. I think thats the way it is currently though, but i see a lot of people with them on their 4 doors. Looks tacky if you ask me
@sherman3211 I think the same thing...S-classes with stars on the grille? very tacky indeed....only the c350 sport sedan can pull off the star on the grille treatment
@kurtthewurt They give out plastic version of that, so normally when you drive, you have the plastic on, and when you're going somewhere important, you put the chrome one one.
-When I was in my "Un-Father" phase I had a 1998 BMW 3-Series Convertible.(License Plate: BENSBMW). Once I had my children, I decided to go to the Mercedes
E-Class.(New license plate: DADOF2)...Boy it's great to be able to live a good life. ;)
