@okornyalbaro Hey, they all look the same because you have forced models activated. You can disable it by going ingame, pressing ESC, game settings, advanced, Team options and then disable forced models.

The graphics in Quake Live are actually really good! Which other game (other than Quake) do you get such awesome gothic architecture and ambience? The maps themselves are a work of art, and the character models have been given a slight update. They just look terrific!

@fozu Come on man, not most of the time, but there are frequent down times, usually less than 24 hours. I play daily. It's an epic game, totally free, and you don't have to be heavily involved. I take frequent quake breaks. The game is good enough to accept the down time. Nothing else compares. Besides WE GET TO PLAY AS SANTA DOOD!! In Holiday Maps!! Be thankful for something you don't have to pay a penny for.

The downtime does suck because they are somewhat frequent, but they don't last long, and it means they're just making the game a little better. Quake is Free and Epic!
