im from rural Canada (wellington county, ontario) - the Liberals were the only one who had a cohesive a doable plan for rural Canada (I read the platforms unlike most people)
I grew up in a very small town in North-Central BC. The population is less than 1000, so it's not like I'm just some city guy saying I don't care about rural Canada. However, it's just an ad. Everything in the ads by all parties are nothing but meaningless rhetoric and attacks on the opposing parties. Where they film them doesn't bother me at all, it's the actual content of the ads that bothers me.
Of course they don't care about rural Canada -- they don't get votes from rural Canadians. They focused their attention on urban Canadians and now they dominate Canada's two largest cities, including Toronto, which has a population bigger than Saskatchewan and Manitoba combined. The Golden Horseshoe has more people than Alberta and B.C. combined. Seems like a good idea to go for those voters.
Take a look at the "Liberal Express" tour map on their website or wherever, you'll see that the VAST majority of their stops are in southern B.C., southern Ontario, southern Quebec and the maritime provinces and almost all of them are along the Canada U.S. border. He made only 12 stops in the other provinces. With the exception of the posher cities, he's left rural Canada virtually untouched. Iggy doesn't understand rural Canada, and never wants to.
Of course, the con elitists posing as the "disenfranchised" rural dwellers are really alluding to their 300 acre cottage properties....Oh the suffering!...Get a doctah, leo asper is feeling faint from the snub !
Apparently the alleged "salt of the earth" have the real trees. Such nature lovers, they'd rather someone spew plumes of carbon to appease their sense of "recognition" entitlement....That's more elitist than a Yo Yo Ma artsy "orgy.".
The Liberal party is sinking fast and continue to ignore the voters because of their arrogance. I could be wrong though, maybe they do listen and consciously make the decision to do the opposite of what they hear.
@viper10011 , I like those numbers. When will the media stop creating false scandals and face the fact that Iggy is unelectable? The harder Iggy tries, the farther he falls. Comical, really.
The Liberal Party of Canada abandoned every single rural part of the country long ago, placing their bets on being able to win majorities in the cities alone. Maybe a good strategy, but it shows that the Liberal Party's first and foremost priority is just being the majority government, not forming a government that is representative of all the different demographics and viewpoints across such a massive country. Canada starts in Brampton and ends in Scarborough for the Liberals.

Hey, filming his ads in Toronto park is better then where I had originally thought he filmed them, which was in front of a green screen.
Liberal Ad = LAME!
