I went to go see JBJ in Toronto back on March 10/08. This was his first encore song that he sang and on that day Cohen was being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. What a great Canadian songwriter!
The Bon Jovi band and Jon has consistently proven for over 2 decades now that they can perfect any type of music genre. This very moving and uplifting video just proved it. Not sure this song is about religion. "Hallelujah" is used here like John Denver used, "Thank God I'm a country boy!".
