  • Nice place you have here Mr. Pike! LOL!!

  • This music is GREAT!!

    What is it!?!?!

  • The music is by Alexander Courage, who did the music only for the original pilot, The Cage, but much of this music was used throughout classic Star Trek. Gene Roddenberry wrote lyrics to Courage's Star Trek theme which really ticked him off, because then Roddenberry claimed a credit as a co-writer of the song, and took royalties which were due to Mr. Courage. He never wrote any more music for the Star Trek series, but did write some cues for Star Trek the Motion Picture. He died on May 15, 2008.

  • Through decades, Alexander Courage made many orchestral arrangements and orchestrations for Jerry Goldsmith, who scored the first ST movie and some more. They were friends.

  • WOW!

  • That additional dialogue by the guys next to Jeff Hunter...don't think that made it into any of the episodes. Swell.

  • Beyonce watch out!

  • Isn't the green girl the same actress that played Yeoman Rand?

  • The green girl (Vina) was played by Susan Oliver. Yeoman Rand was played by Grace Lee Whitney.

  • Me and my old lady used to get naked and bang like hammers to that song.
