  • sweet, now i know how to play practice race and silly race :D

  • Sound quality bad...

Video needs work sound to be clear.....

  • Shame about the audio quality. But otherwise your playing is excellent, and I appreciate that your camera angle allows me to see what you're doing. Good learning tool. So far I only know how to play the beginner level.

  • Sound qulity is real bad need to repost a new video with clean sound.

  • I really wanted to favorite this because I love your playing, but the audio quality made it unlistenable. I hope you do this over, because you clearly worked really hard learning these.

  • @RockLeeSmile Thanks so much =). I hope to re-record it one day. There have been many requests to do so.

  • Oh God, my ears. Did you even listen to this video before you uploaded it?

  • @Mysterious0Bob Yes, twice.

  • Pure awesome ruined by recording static. Record it again!! It sounds so much better on piano!

  • I was only able to do it with gentle and patient practice. Thanks for your comment =)

  • piano madness! this thing must have been hard as hell to do!

  • 2:00, amazing. Whole this is amazing, in fact.

  • @c0que10 Thank you =) That little part took practice indeed. I'm glad you can appreciate it .

  • i wish the audio quality was better, but still, awsome music

  • Awesome dude! I just learned the first level and you've inspired me to keep going!

  • @craigmason84 Learn the second level! That one is my favorite =)

  • MY EARS!!!! put volume down - you've destroyed the sound.

  • @thejobloshow Sorry about that.

  • @fatchudwan it's nothing serious, but you play so well and you're performing the whole soundtrack. I would adjust the sound and upload the vid again.

  • would you be able to point me out to where one might find the sheet music for this?

  • @eyesofnova Yes. You have to access the notes through the MIDI file. Use Midi Illustrator to open them. You can find the MIDIs by google searching marble madness midis. Let me know if you need further instruction

  • @fatchudwan thank you so much :-)

  • @eyesofnova Have you played it yet??

  • @fatchudwan I actually don't play piano but a friend does so I was looking for it for him. I passed along what you told me and now he plays it. Thanks for checking back with me though.

  • First off, great job.

Secondly, am I the only one who appreciates this game more now than I did when I was little?

  • Thank you. I do too. The game is fucking hard like most old games are..but I love it. Some of these new ones could learn a thing or two =p

  • Nice job...audio's a bit overmodulated, but some great renditions of great music from a fave childhood game of mine. :-)

  • Please redo this with input volume turned down.

PLEASE, because I love the work but the audio quality makes it unlistenable

  • okay, perhaps I will soon. if you would appreciate it then I would take the time for you.

  • great work, I wish there was no static in the audio quality

  • it's so great to hear the level 2 music in full...I always reach the end of the level before it gets to that cool part where it seems to modulate into major key.... :)

  • very well done i can play the second song but with over dubbing using a keyboard :P

  • really? you should record it onto youtube!

  • ya man it has the 8-bit sound and everything its such a sweet song

  • I remember playing this video game on Nintendo when I was a child. I think it took like seven or eight minutes to complete

  • do you have the music sheets for the four levels

  • I could make sheet music for it, yes. But its easier for you to make it for yourself by printing it out through midiillustrator. You would need to download the midis, which if you can't find I would be happy to supply, and you would need the program MidiIllustrator.

  • i think your piano is brokeln

  • Your transcription of the music is very accurate. The fourth level chords are a little off, but truthfully I couldn't play that as well as you. Nice job!

  • Thanks man. I appreciate your honesty and the nice compliment.

  • That ROCKED

  • thanks! :D

  • this video brings back happy memorys of wasted hours playing that game i used to play the second level over and over just for the music

p.s nice dinosaurs i wish i had some:(

  • yeah! the second level is the reason i made this video!

i got the dinosaurs at walgreens yo.

  • i dont usually comment on youtube videos, but that is incredible. i love this score, and you nailed it.

  • many thanks! I am surprised to find other people who love this score too. (=

  • the second song was the best

  • the second song was the best

  • Very, very good!!!

  • pure excellence! i love this game so much, and hearing the tunes again on piano makes me so happy to see the game isnt forgotten, however learning this becomes my problem :S job very well done!

  • thanks a lot =) try to find the midis out there and use midi illustrator to output the notes. problem solved.

  • i did, and im finding them pretty useful, thanks!

  • great song and amazing collectiin of dinosaurs

  • ahhh hahha

  • I remeber playing marble madness back in the day. Good Job!

  • Aside from the distortion, this is pretty sweet and darn close to the real thing.

  • thank you

  • No problems man - as I said, it's brilliant! I've seen many video game music on piano vids on here, and this is well - one of my favourites ;) When you MP3 it one day (or record it again), I'll definitely have it on my MP3 Player ;)

  • Oh for you guys that did not get what i said first. Try turning down the volume :P

  • Yeah don't mind it it wasn't that bad

  • Does the word distortion mean anything to you?

  • sheesh..what with so many comments on the sound quality i suppose i should re-record..i mean, i thought it was alright

  • Youch, there's a wee bit too much noise on that bad boy... and very little signal. Guess we hear what we wants to hear. :)

  • word, well good lookin out..theres no point in polluting youtube with bad sound quality. and i think i can afford to make a theremin video too..

  • right on. you should upload a small video for yourself.

  • lol..i appreciate your concern but um i dunno i wanted to focus more on the fingers
