I visited New York once. It was hot and smoggy. The pavements were overcrowded with angry people. I was warned not to travel on the subway. The streets were filthy & crammed with homeless. All the shops are very expensive and full of cheap rubbish. The restaurants are dirty & the food is tasteless. The hotdogs are disgusting & taste of vomit. My expensive hotel was infested with bedbugs. I refused to tip & was thrown out of 5 restaurants. I was mugged 3 times. I am never going back.
Love it. Peace from Philly, NYC's 6th Borough. No one love’s NYC like Philly natives, as NYC is made up of people who moved there from Philly, as we are only an hour away via Amtrak train ride. Have you ever heard the saying, Philly trains New York artist? Well, in many instances this is true. We here in Philly would never dar say Philly is even close to being as great and cool as New York, we know our place and respect NYC, for the magic place it is. As Philly does have the spirit of NYC.
Nice vid. I'm glad I was in NY at the same time this happened. I was staying on 27th st and at around 5 pm the snow was burying everything. I was walking home from a bar and not a single person was there. It was kind of creepy, but the memories will be forever. Good to see another Aussie in NY at the same time.
During traveling is very important to know all the facts of the awareness of the weather man when he tells to you about the weather conditions of the roads in an advance of a snow blizzard or a difficult weather conditions.
I think I prefer to stay in home rather than to get a headache.
You are lucky to have a great piece of the famous blizzard of 12-26-2010.
Kids with their parents on the Central park with full enjoyment because of a great opportunity to snow boarding.
I think any traveler will accept to get a trip when there is a great opportunity to get a trip where ever goodies from mother nature can offers for them.
Kids love snow and parents love them.
Parents prefer to achieve any good care performance for their love ones.
@positiveworldtravel LOL.. no, I wanted to know if you started out your trip from Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn, which clearly you didn't or you would have understood. The house you left from looked like the houses in that neighborhood..
Had bad snow and freezing temperatures in Manchester UK for the last three weeks. Some nights it was -15C. Not been like that for years here. I love New York . See you in the summer. Happy New Year.thanks for the video
I watched 100's of videos that were posted by ppl of blizzard Dec '10. You made the list! Google: watch tri state snow blizzard december 2010 videos (it's under Simon Rosenzweig's Blog)
