@MiguelHeinicke hi, i hope i can help. if you follow this guide, the last step where he twists the end, dont do that. leave it open and burn off the extra paper and then light it from there. you will get a better pull through on your first drag. if that doesn't work try making the end of the joint tighter/looser. just try some new things, ask some of your mates who smoke and learn. thats how i got my knowledge, pass it on so we can all chill with no worries. peace

try using a bit smaller paper with pure bud (or magic substitute in your case) in the middle and just a bit of tobacco at the end (it lights easier). it uses about the same amount of bud and i like smoking the weed without a tobacco mix. but if you like the tobacco all in it, then by all means toke on.
