  • Keep Talking,Disability of mankind to Express himself!

I've pondered on this song more than other songs,Still there are many things to be dicovered from what Dave wants to say in this songs

  • Epic! love jammin to this. Pink Floyd and others like this have inspired me to use a talk box

  • 4:02 "the entrance to the glory"

  • david is the most amazing man on this earth..plays that guitar like its nothing..imagine him and jimi together, shredding all the amps and melting faces

  • The only thing I don't like about this version is you can't really hear Steven Hawking at all.

then something happened which unleased the power of our imagination and we learned to talk".

  • Sooooooooooooooo AMAZING! Wish i could've seen them live.

  • Art

  • Where do we go from here?

  • this video.. looks nothing like it did when i was sitting there. but forceful tears of unexplicible spiritual bliss and joy push their way out of my eyes even now as i watch this. truely a miracle of man-made wonder that no words can describe..

if i could find any words that came close to describing that night i saw the Pulse Tour in london.., those words themselves could be composed into a song, that would be amazing, but not 1/2 as amazing as this night was..

    bless you for posting mate

  • @Jagethemage I shall never forgive the universe for being born too late to see this :(, Thank God for DVDs, or I would have never felt some of this amazing experience. I truly think this is are the sounds of emotions.

  • who the fuck disliked this?????

  • PINK FLOYD is pure Art.

  • i would give my body into spirit to see this concert with my dad, you dont even know!!

  • i remember a song from joan osbourne.. what if god was one of us... well he is. Mister Gilmour, you're amazing.

  • You say lady gaga, i say Michael Jackson

You say hannah montana, i say Kiss

You say owl city, i say Pink Floyd

You say jonas brothers, i say Queen

You say justin bieber, i say Deep Purple

You say taylor swift, i say Kate Bush

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thunb this up, then copy and paste it to t least 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK AND ROLL DIE!

  • @thiagosats AMEN BROTHA!!!!!!

  • @thiagosats thats cool and all. but please dont spam on a great floyd vid like this.. every time you even 'MENTION' the names of those garabage 'musicians', its multiple steps backwards for the REAL music that graces this earth. sorry if i sound like an ass, mate. much <3 to you, and all that shall come from you :)

  • @thiagosats Not a big Kiss fan myself, but I agree with your other choices! Bravo to you and your excellent choice in music!

  • @thiagosats michael jackson rock? WTF?

  • LOVE IT!

  • 2:30 fully sick.

  • Pink Floyd discography:

    Full discography from hotfile(dot)com:

    hotfile(dot)com/list/998266/b8d7e5d

  • 1 of the most incredible version of this song

    the opening RIFF

  • It might sound like a pretty basic thing but Mason's timing is incredible. He's got to be teh most underrated drummer of all time.!

  • @mmmbilly you are very right.. it's very much on time. they had a master click track that they could all hear individually, so that they could time the pre-recorded stuff (sound effects) and the lights... so everyone had to be bang on or the whole thing would go out of whack. I've been playing drums for years and years and yes, Mason is a click track himself.

  • @youraisemyrent Is metronome the same thing as a click track?

  • my first concert i ever went to, it was in Paris with my first G-friend. i had never heard of Pink Floyd before. i was a hip hop and tekno guy. till today i went to about 80 concerts or so, maybe a few more or less.. who cares.. but THIS was the BEST concert i have EVER been to! bone chilling! goosebumps through the entire show!

My Gfriend asked me why i hadnt paid any attention to her, i couldnt. i was so in aw, so in trance... i didnt see anything but the show. GREAT !

  • @DerEddi I went to see Pink Floyd for my best concert ever 10th of April 1994 in Mexico City. I remember perfectly because it was one day after my birthday and my dad took me as a present. He promised it will change my life, I was just 9... I dont remember that much, but it certainly made a huge impact, all those lights the stage, the emotion and loudness of live music, the beginning and end of the concert I will never forget. Today I just take any chance to see live shows I can...

  • Amazing song!!!

  • Truly amazing. Best band in the world. I was a tad disappointed that the "computerized" voice of Stephen Hawking was absent in the live show, though. You'd think they'd have used a recorded reproduction of it for this song on their tour. (?) I'd seen the Momentary Lapse tour (twice, actually) and the Wall, but missed this one, sadly. Now, of course, sorely wish that I hadn't. Thanks for posting this pinkclimax :o)

  • @JamesSCameron Yeah, it would have kicked ass if Stephen Hawking actually got on stage and did the vo-- HOLY CRAP ARE YOU THE REAL JAMES CAMERON?!

  • @JamesSCameron it's not missing in reality, only on this video for some reason. I own both PULSE cd and dvd, and it is not missing. and yes I also own the VHS tape and it wasn't missing either. My guess is the video compression. check out other versions of this on youtube and you will hear it.

  • to pinkclimax: i actually have the pulse dvd, but i enjoy this videos better

  • They were awesome in the 70's and they are still awesome now. Their music transcends music trend and will live on a long time after they have all past away.

    They are a legend!

  • I was born 2 decades to late....

  • @Erbser Not really,I was born too to be in their generation.I just have always loved their music.Just keep listening and keep taking and that alone will carry their music on.

  • @theosu66 Truth words my friend... Today my order - a Best of-Album (Echoes) and their Live-DVD (Pulse) - just came. I love it!

  • no comment only ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

  • @Matheushr Not an Instrument. It's a effect-pedal, I think it's called "Wah Wah-Pedal". But I'm not sure...

  • @Erbser Used in this song is "talk box" which is simliar to wah :)

  • @arnaud360 Thanks!

  • I HAVE THIS DVD CONCERT, AND ITS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!! COOL IMAGE DEFINITION!

  • 'Buy' the DVD

  • ooooh..... i see. hahaha.

  • lol why is the title keep talking?

  • @DavidGilmourrocks What's wrong with the title?

  • @kresq lol i corrected myself. it had the ending of sorrow and as i kept watching keep talking started.

  • algo de fantástico guilmor no seu melhor

  • @ruicunha95 podes crer ;)

  • haha to think half of the younger people of today think all this new Dance, RnB etc is proper timeless music. I'm 14, my grandad got me into Genesis, Floyd etc (In other words the proper stuff) and I'm so glad he did cos the majority of today's music is (we all have our own opinion of course) a bag of shight. This is amazing music!

  • @kingofkeyboards refreshing to hear. As is Zeppeliln. You don't hear the breadth, and depth of music today as you did on 'Physical Grafitti".

Plus lots of great hard rock from the 70's like Thin LIzzy and UFO.

  • @NewMexicoSunset I hear ya

  • @NewMexicoSunset Damm straight. Pink floyd, Led Zepp, Thin lizzzy, Queen,UFO,Rainbow,Beatles, abd many more from there era.

  • nvm sorry you made me think it was lol

  • this is sorrow...

  • trop fort pink Floyd!!!

  • incrivel!!!!

    São Paulo-Brasil

  • E ai Brazuca voce tambem gosta do PINK FLOYD. Parabens voce tem muito bom gosto. God bless you brother.

  • there has always been too few bands who are willing to go the extra mile for the viewing audience. Pink is tops in this cat!

  • this is one of the few Floyd songs that i prefer the studio over the live version...great stuff here though

  • @greekgator01ss I agree with you.

  • ya i agree but this version still sounds great.

  • it totally does....i just like the album version better....i like how gilmour has that desolute sound in his voice in the album version.

  • PINK FLOYD is absolutely AMAZING!

  • É um clássico,inigualável , eterno.

  • what effect use for do this sound at solo ????? please help me !!!!

  • heil talk box

  • I saw them the day The Division Bell came out in San Diego. The tix cost me $200 each for 13th row. But worth every penny. We crammed the CD in and drove to San Diego listening to it over and over. I was in awe, and still am. One of PF's best CD's along with Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, and Animals.

  • DIVINI

  • Pink Floyd is number one to me, i must say richard wright is brilliant., his solos are unreal

  • @specv858

if only he wasn't so modest and did more

  • It is a Heil Talk Box, I believe.

  • ORGASM... totally loved seeing this tour... OMG OMG OMG...

  • Very very cool stuff here man!

  • It doesn't have to be like this. All we need to do is make sure we keep talking.

  • @sotruesotrue

    These words by: Steven Hawking....

  • @Ste2007fan Stephen... hawking

  • @sotruesotrue

For millions of years mankind lived just like the animals

Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination

    We learned to talk

  • @4BiZ20 Muy bien donde lo sacaste lo dice la cancion o es de algun libro??

  • @matfab841 its lyrics to the song....

  • Stephen Hawkin is included, it's just not very loud unfortunatly

  • Why didn't they include the Stephen Hawkin sample of him saying "for millions of years, mankind lived..."??

  • It's there, it's just not too loud.

  • "The Greatness and The Magnificence of Music."

  • i agree with you iluvcrm4life i would give anything to see them live my parents wen to this concert and they get on my nerves sayin how good it was

  • me too

  • i would give up anything to be able to see these guys live. not only are they the best group out there, they also give the greatest shows. i would give 10 grand to see them live.

  • I felt exactly the same way back in the early 1990's. I had a feeling that if they ever came back to America again, it would probably be the last time.

When the Division Bell tour came in 1994, I put down $125 (which was a lot back then) for the best seat I could get. It was May 1994 at Cleveland Stadium. It was a cold 40-degrees that night, and we froze our asses off. But I was on the floor, 8th row. Life didn't get much better, and I remember it like it was yesterday.

  • omg..what a psychodelic show and music..really out of this world!amazing!маgestique!its like dream...astral projection!!!Best regards from Macedonia

  • I love this song so much and this live version is so amazing! David using the talkbox at the end was incredible espeacially at 6:10 when he uses extremly high pitched squeel. Hearing the high pitch squeel and watching the lasers float back and fourth exactly to the melody of the song gives me chills up my spine!

  • one word: beautiful!

  • fav song from pink floyd. the best talk box action ever, following by slash in "use your illusion " in tokyo. just.. divine

  • RE COPADO PINK FLOYD LO MAS

  • phenomenal talk box

  • Damm that "Gruffffff" sound he makes @ the beginning with that Guitar...........

  • Sad to read all these unqualified comments. Gilmour is a guitar god. I bought a red Fender because of him and I do not play guitar at all. I've been listening and following Pink Floyd for half of my life and love it. Felt very sad when Rick died...

  • "I bought a red Fender because of him.." That's pretty cool :). Why not his black fender custom though?

  • Because that thing is freakin expensive! lol

  • check out the stuff gilmour did solo like the about face album you will be very surprised

  • i have the DVD but it is soooo badly scratched. this tour landed on Earth from somewhere in space. AWESOME!!!

  • you probably typed this before watching the whole video.

  • why is it a poor comment? he is right! it's sorrow :O

  • What kind of instrument Gilmour plays on 5:45 ? :)

  • That's a talk Box pedal for the guitar, kinda like a vocodor in the sense that it allows one to distort their voice, in this case with their guitar.

  • Guitar...but using talkbox.

  • and ??? ...

  • you ahs missed the starting gun ,,no one told you when to run ,,,,,,,,,,,,NAME THAT TUNE???

  • that's Time I know

  • They tell me to please go and fuck myself....

  • The Pulse tour was out of this world and I WILL own the dvd ;)

  • You mean the Division Bell Tour :)

  • talk about it when you do it

  • blah we need that trippy voice at the beginning to be louder. still, amazing. Floyd is a mystical band that sends chills down your spine.

  • They were and will be the greatest rock band of all time and this song proved Gilmour could do it without Waters!!! One of teh best Floyd songs of all time, both musically and lyrically (with the help of David's wife and a few others)

  • you're right. This song, and a few others in the Division Bell proved that Pink Floyd DID survive without Roger. The more I listen to this song the more I like it. The inclusion of Stephen Hawkins's voice and words makes it just awesome! I'm speechless .... I can't seem to speak now .... so I'll just sit in the corner ... and listen .... LOL

  • there has never been and will never be a band quite like floyd..the music is beyond lyrics and sound, its magic..out of this world!

  • I've got a deep feelling there is SOMETHING ELSE in their music, something harder to describe: something methaphisical, spiritual and occult. E.g. "The Division Bell" is a Key to create marvellous states of human conscioussnes. And definitely, they are true powerfull magicians using power of incredible sounds to make miracles in our consciousnesses.

  • where is the background voice

  • this could use more cowbell.

  • THIS is a live ! Wonderful

  • this is one of the most unique bands in history and this song is just sick with all its instrumentals!

  • makes the hair on my hands stand up...

  • temon tremendo para los fans

  • Another good performance, never ceases to amaze. Thanks for the post

  • The beginning portion of this video is from Sorrow. The rest is Keep Talking, awesome stuff!!!

  • It's the end of the song Sorrow, if you watch the clip of Sorrow concurrent with this one, they merge into each other. It's just the song is too long for one whole clip.

  • they still take me back home to childhood.

i remember the wall comming out when I was in juniour high...they have always been awesome and never have put out second rate tracks.

    always top notch

  • è sorrow

  • best pink floyd song

    hands down

    holy shit

  • The light show with this tour is astonishing for 1994.

  • yeah true... and we r soon in 2009 and noone done something alike. Im pretty sure that noone will do eather. Pink Floyd forever!!

  • chills....

  • nice tee shirt dave.......

  • Isn't it? =)

  • God this track gives me goose bumps!! awesome..

  • Keep talking one of the best songs they do. Listen to old rick on them keys.Almost sounds like a trip threw heaven.See you soon brother.

  • RIP Richard Wright

So sad, that there will never be a Pink Floyd reunion tour in the classic line-up!

  • I know I was so hoping the rumours about 2009 reunion were going to be true...but no...so sad...

  • 2:22 - 2:26

Fantastic Effect On Pink Floyd's Backs.

  • I've been to the dark side of the moon... seen the wall... missed this one... oh well I've got the cd and a couple copies of the dvd, and after a few years of saving. I have a sound system that does this music the honor it deserves.

  • It's things another world. Great music, arrangements and effects on stage.

    Gino

  • hippy are you under drugs?? hhhhhh you comaring yourself by dave shut the fuck up

  • hippy you couldnt do shit better then these guys so shut the fuck up

  • Pink Floyd is one of the most incredible bands ever

  • @bigb6866 Amen, my Floydian brother!

  • great. i will see them on tour again, please
