@UndefetedReplays That's the general reaction to James LaBrie. Once you get used to it, though, you realize that Dream Theater just wouldn't be Dream Theater without his voice, much like Zeppelin and GnR.
@MiseryFields yea actully listenning to it now it feels bit better, or the morning coffee just hasnt hit yet. Allthoug I have lectures at singing and note reading I can still tell you his high tunes are going fake because he dosent distribute air when he sings them out.
@UndefetedReplays Yeah, go check out some of their live shows (2006-ish) and then compare it to the Metropolis 2000 shows and you'll really wonder what went wrong. lol I mean, he's much better now, for some reason, but a few years ago, he was just absolutely shit. lol
@matthieuim Not only that, he ignored his doctors recommendations to stop touring for the time being and let his vocal chords heal up, which is why, on Metropolis pt 2, he was flat for a good part of it, because he caused semi-permanent damage to himself. Obviously his voice is healing up quite nicely after twenty years. I was just wondering why he suddenly started sounding better all at once. I mean, you heard him at Budokan, right? He was flat for almost the whole show. lol
What album is this on? What a brilliant cover this is.
