I'm a huge David Archuleta fan...however, I've always also liked David Cook. What amazing strength this took for him. I have a lot of respect for what he did today and has done for cancer research. My heart goes out to him and his family.

I hope eventually a cure will be found for all terminal illnesses. No one deserves to go through watching someone close to them struggle through such a thing. NO ONE.
Cook said it best "I lost 1 but gained 9000" hopefully the 9000 number will increase.

I feel soo bad for David and his family. After the news that we heard about Adam fighting hard and then to hear that he died, its terrible news. But at least David has his fans and family that will always be there for him.

My love, thoughts and prayers will be with David and his family. His musical talent, which is enormous, is just one tiny reason so many people have been so taken with him. The biggest reason, I think, is his huge heart.
It's hard to believe this beautiful young man has such maturity and grace at 26 y/o. He amazes me more every day.

David is just a great human being, his sense of commitment don't go away even in the worst situations, he finished the race and even talked with grace with that huge pain going on. We all know he loves his brothers so much and I can only imagine what is to lose a beloved one, my prayers are with you and all your family, and just know there are many many fans of yours that love you so so much. He amazes me. His heart is as big as Alaska, and today, of all days, he loses his brother. Wow. And he still can crack a joke at himself. I love him so much. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
