  • I love how you guys say cus cus x3

Here in Canada we always pronounce it coos coos XD

  • Taboulé with fried fish ;)

  • YOU GUY R THE GREATEST I just watched all your videos I'll certainly cook everything I've seen

  • Goodness, when I get married, I'm going to fly you guys out to America, and you're going to do my wedding. Hope that's alright with you. =]

  • @avfischer23 Sounds great :-D

  • LoL I live in Tunisia and we are known with couscous well there are many way's of it

But the couscous You Do!! is sooo different ^_^ any way .. I think its delicious...

  • i think he meant 4 to 5 minutes

  • 45 minutes!? ahaha that'll be quite the dry piece of fish then, ben!

  • Looks good! But it's practically impossible to find couscous from this part of the world. Maybe I'll make it into fried rice instead. :)

  • This is a favourite of ours....I always forget to take a photo of it before we devour it though!

  • @CherWarner haha... so long as you're enjoying it I guess that's all that matters! :D

  • And here I am thinking ive never had cheese made of goats milk...

  • @GilmoreGirls1000001 eh? You are missing out!

  • @GilmoreGirls1000001 never tried feta??? :)

  • hahaha, you guys brought the ukelele along.

  • I've always done couscous with chicken stock, slivered almonds, and raisins, myself. Not too sweet, really flavorful, just as quick as the regular kind, and the liquid in the stock plumps up the raisins so they're like little gems of happiness in the mix...

  • @lutetia128 yeah! Nice combo! We did a similar thing with our lamb tagine. Have you seen that video?

  • love how barry's always munching all the ingrediants, guy after my own heart :)

  • Barry...did he just grab a piece of sausage out of a piping hot oil-bubbling pan?? I swear that man has hands of steel..

  • awesome recipe! first time for me to see feta cheese used in a recipe elsewhere from home! cooked and its amazing! (im greek btw :) )

  • @samwise94 True... spinach and feta pie is amazing! :D

  • made this tonight for supper. I've never had couscous before but it was really good.

  • im gonna be honest, £2.50 for a happy meal... now thats a bargain for uni students.

  • Comment removed

  • @AFTERSHOCKZzz Not a bargain for your liver !!

  • That chick at 4:14 is pretty cute.

  • -

This was my 1st time hearing about your channel and this made me not only subscribe but a HUGE FAN!!!

  • BARRY! love him

  • oh i hate surf n turf. it almost made me vomit

  • if you don't like geeks can you cook with people who have some self-confidence?

  • No idea what language that girl was speaking. Sounded like mumbling.

  • No offence, but this doesn't hold a candle to Epic Meal Time :P

  • I wouldn't exactly call it surf and turf but a great dish anyway. Cous cous is often flavoured with chorizo in many Mediterranean dishes with a piece of fish. I was expecting a piece of meat along with the fish which wouldn't have really worked I guess.

Nice quick and simple dish. Straight forward video, good stuff.

  • looks delicious..

  • Doesn't "Surf 'n' Turf" mean, y' know... have sex?

  • @LiimeTV it means when you eat meat and fish/seafood together

  • If your vegertarian could you flavor your cous cous with something else??

  • @remedy2231 add some grated garlic and a sprinkle of smoked paprika, along with an extra glug of oil. They are the two main flavours in Chorizo.

  • @remedy2231. Try a veg sauce, cooked separately then poured on the prepared couscous. buy a fine couscous from arab shops, much better than the supermarket. 1 finely shopped onion, 1 garlic, tspoon of coriander powder, tin of shopped tomato (bland it). bit of olive oil in heated d-pan, all put the above except B TOMATO and stir it for 2 m.add the tomato than hot water and a bit of Veg stock, turn down the heat, put lid on and cook for 40 m, then add ur choice of veg and cook until ready.

  • nice! it's ridiculous that so many of us in 6th form can't cook.. and we're leaving for uni

Sorted videos are totally getting sent everywhere by me. xD

  • @XDbeans Great to hear... it's all about spreading the word and together getting as many people SORTED as possible! Do you know which uni you're heading off to yet?

  • @sortedfood.

i have no clue, there are too many choices, too much i want to study!

but i'll be sure to let my 6th form know about Sorted :)

  • hmm... I never had couscous before, does it taste like rice?

  • alex turner at 3:04

  • Hey, do you guys ever have any bloopers? Like, not just for these live ones, but the ones in your kitchens?

If so, can you show some of them? I just can't imagine the mess-ups you guys could get into.

    :D.

  • @iDiiNOALLY we do have the odd one or two - mostly jamie's influenece! :S Nice idea - we'll try to collate a few of them together over the next few weeks.

  • @sortedfood I knew Jamie would have something to do with it! :D

    And more veggie ideas please.

    Thank u x

  • What about us vegetarians? :-)

  • That is the biggest chorizo I've ever seen lol

  • he reminds me of mikey way. face wise

  • I just made the recipe and it was really good! the chorizo with the feta was really tasteful. Thanks for sharing !

  • Surely with Pancake Day coming up on the 8th of March, we need a home-made pancake recipe. Or perhaps Sorted's unique twist on it.

  • Wow that looks delicious. Thank you for sharing! My father and I love couscous, so I'll be making this soon. May I ask if the green wrapper at around 1:45, is that a stock cube?

  • @guccigoo110 Yes, sorry, a sneaky stock cube - just half!

  • can you do fish and chips, sorted?

  • Gave me a bit of a heart attack when you said 45 mins per side xD

  • this is great looking food! and barry! ;)

  • You should so do a dish live at VidCon!

  • @muggle394 That would be awesome! How do we get involved?

  • @sortedfood

Try the form at the bottom of the "Agenda" page at VidCon2011. com? Or try emailing/tweeting John or Hank Green?

I'm not gonna be able to attend VidCon but it would be awesome to see you guys on the livestream or something :D

  • @sortedfood ask Charlie

  • @sortedfood Um, I would imagine you could try to contact them on the VidCon website (vicon2011 . com) and see if you could get a reservation of some sort (I have no clue if that's what happens at these types of things, I couldn't go last year, but hopefully I'll be able to go this year). But, then again, I don't know if they already have all the speakers/acts they need, you know? You'll just have to see. It'd be awesome, though, if you could get a spot, I'm sure everyone would enjoy it.

  • Looks so tasty

  • YUMMY. This looks wonderful. I'm going to give this recipe a go.

Ben, could you please please please share a recipe with us for a quick and easy breakfast on-the-go? I don't like to miss breakfast, but I'm PERPETUALLY 15 minutes late to everything so this presents a foodie problem! Haha.

  • You should come to Brunel Uni! :)

  • This sounds delicious!!! However, I'm unable to eat pork, what type of beef or poultry sausage would compare to the chorizo in taste, as in, what type of flavour is the chorizo giving to the fish and couscous?? Spicey, Salty, Hot?? It's so hard having allergies.

  • Really interesting recipe. I'm not used to eating couscous but I'd love to give this a go! Thanks.

  • I love cous cous!

But its so plain on its own. I have no idea how to flavour it to make it yummier!

    Anyone got any ideas?

  • @madmadmiko did you watch the vid ?

    n, e way.

just throw in about hlf tspoon each of crushed [or powdered] garlic/ginger, cinnamon powder, salt, pepper.. pinch of thyme , tspoon lemon juice , some fresh herbs[if available] ...coriander, parsley , mebbe some basil ...if u have some tomato's about the place .. done :)

damn I could go on for ages .

    love decent .food.
