  • maybe try racing a lets say 1993 stock vmax.......Then you ll be looking for a turbo....

  • @bushme69 I raced a 2nd generation Vmax he was fast, but that darn road curved a bit then he was gone.

  • dumb camera man for not recording both bikes times...

  • what the fuck is an M109??? I've been riding and racing sportsbikes and dirtbikes for 28 years: never heard of it! Ohhhhh fuckmeintheassallrightwhilejerkingmeoff...it's a fucking chopper isn't it??!!

  • @allesinmetaal Um ,no, it isn't a chopper.

  • Nice bike, keep going with it!

  • Not bad for a 800lb cruiser. that's for sure.

  • I love the Honda V65 and have ridden them numbers of times. They were definately ahead of their time. As for the M109R, I own a stock 2008 (I have chrome wheels etc.)and while not hardly as fast in the quarter as the V65, the rider better not lose concentration or I will be beside him. Going down the road at 70mph, my 109 will destroy the v65 in high gear roll on. (con't)

  • @jefflb1961(con't) The v65 in no way has the torque (which I love) of my 109, nor does it have the jaw dropping looks of it either. My bike never fails to get me compliments or draw a crowd wherever I go. 83 V4's were fast, but show me an 83 Vtwin that could even stay within eyesight of one? That is technology. Thank You Honda for your 1800 VTX (I owned one as well and love them), because of it, we have the 109.

  • hum another (my dick is bigger than yours) video.

  • seen an m109r at a gas station today before work and just sat there in awe. what a beautiful bike it was. but, considering my v sixty five back in 83 ran a 10.92 in a quater mile im not impressed with the performance......

  • @stephscovill Hey dumbass that was a Harley in the right lane on the last run that whoever was filming didn't want to show because it won by about 50ft.

  • LOL at the spring boing sound @ 1:15

  • ima motorcycletech i went 2 mmi and u r wrong

  • your wrong

    arche

  • Comment removed

  • my uncles a harley mechanic

  • i'm still laughing at this... sigh yes yes, i know, the earth is also flat.

  • carburated is faster than fuel injected because they idle lower, that gives you more room to accelerate

  • you are wrong

  • do some research, then comment.

  • That was one of the dummest comments i've heard on youtube in awhile. Where do kids come up with this shit?

  • @archetype891 are you serious? in no way was this statement even close to being even remotely correct.

  • i didnt say it was more power, all i said was it idled lower, thus giving you more room to accelerate

  • carbs idle slower, i didnt say they were more power, it just gives your more rpm to accelerate with

  • oh really, fuel injection has no adjustability on idle speed?that is one of the benefits of fuel injection is that you can adjust just about anything. And also, fuel injection would beat carburetion just on the fact of throttle response. No i did not say that fuel injection makes more power, im saying it has better response to when you twist the throttle.

  • not impressed. how much money was dumped into this thing? i mean, hell, bikes in the 80s were running faster with less technology.

  • Hey Slick,

This bike had nothing more than a set of Cobra pipes and a fuel injection reprogrammer that was out before the power commander was available. This bike with me on it weighed in at 900# even. I have drag raced for over 30 years and yes I ran a GS 1000 back in the early 80's and no it could not run in stack form as fast as this 900# M109R did.

  • @chopkins45 and on top of that you don't have to work on the 9s at all unlike the 80s bikes, so there's your technology...rosieKR is a dumbass and probably got his ass kicked by a 9 on his pos harley.

  • @dewby72 I wouldn't go that far, i owned a 9 from new with a few bolt on mod's. Bent shift forks, clutch slips and my timing chain snapped all in under a year. Some bad mechanical issues with these bikes. Suzuki had my bike in three different shops for 9 months and still couldn't fix it properly. Fun bike but i'll never buy another suzuki product again. Maybe i just drove the damn thing too hard.

  • @honda12345678 Well, I've owned mine for 2 and a half years and I haven't had to do anything to it other than regular maintenance. So it sounds like you just had a lemon. And I ride mine pretty hard to, I have a buddy with a Vrod that thinks he'll outrun me one day and another buddy w/a C109R who thinks the same thing. I'm sure you just had a lemon, which sucks bc it ruined your experience on the 9....Also, look at the 2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster, that's a sick bike.

  • @RosieKR Not impressed?? It's a heavy ass cruiser. What do you expect? It's still fast as shit.

  • @givemongoball @givemongoball not impressed in that they advertise it as a "muscle" cruiser but there's no muscle there. just a big vtwin, that's not muscle. a cruiser from the 80's shouldnt be able to smoke a modern muscle cruiser.

  • @givemongoball that'd be like the old muscle cars smoking the new ones. some cases they can, but not all because of the improvements to engine technology, susension and tires. the true muscle era for bikes had cruisers with top of the line suspension, brakes & tires(for the day) and were putting out awesome power for back then. now, cruisers have not advanced at all and are just overweight turds. suzuki could have done so much better.

  • why you scared they might flog your ass?

  • Ouch, OK I see You are responding to the dude withthe Z1000. Yeh, Z1000 should be way faster then 12......MY bad

  • The person who ran 10.89 on a GSXR 600. What is Your point? That a 700lb cruiser should go as fast as Your 400lb sport bike? Your comment is like me saying "I have a Camaro that only has a 4 spd and it runs 10.4 in the 1/4, You need to learn how to ride Your GSXR."

  • little boys play with plastic toys, fucking retards

  • Little boys with plastic toys...just like your old lady like... because they are better AND quicker !!!!

  • Why does it look like the brake lights are on in the first run?

  • Buell Firebolt, 11,84 112.5 1/4 mile. M109R runs 11.64 with a pro rider. Thats stock.

Good run for a BIG BIKE,

  • I have one and it rocks!!!

  • Is that stock or modified?

  • looked to be 111mph. That's what shows under the 11.8 sec time on the board right?

  • What was the top speed for the 11.8 sec run? anyone knows?

  • he has pipes,a pcIII powercommander and air cleaners....other than that it's stock .mine is stock with the same stuff but a different pipe and a air ride lowering system and a 280 rear tire and runs 10's

  • bullshit

  • you suck

  • ppridgen1 you lie

chopkins45 nice run like the front tire lift in the second run to bad it killed the run.. im such a squid, cant even hit 11.90's i have a 08 z1000

  • snurczyk,my damned gsxr 600 with carbs ran a 10.89, sounds like you have no clue how to drive or how to set up a bike to run the quarter mile. Stick to vespas or keep trying to improve until you learn how to launch and ride

  • Wow. You're a real dick, the guy was just being modest. Sounds like you should try to improve your ability to not be an ass.

  • Wow, if you are gonna post your crap for the world to see, be ready for the crapstorm that may follow. Point blank, if you aren't into the low 10's on motor with a 109, then you are not riding it to it's full potential. If you need to kiss his ass for going slow then send him a PM. Nobady wants to see that!!! As for plastic toys, let's go to bithlo and see the difference between plastic and a leadsled with iron motor and 1940 technology !!! I'll have to give you a head start @ 6'4"and 275# !

  • smoke my beanbag. you wont be a douche anymore when you post up your vid of your whatever air-ride lowered 280mm rear tire 10.xx sec beast. let people like chopkins enjoy his moment of glory.. something im sure he's proud of!!

  • find someone to change your diaper, you big baby. Chopkins was out there trying before most others even had theirs, he's also a big guy, wich slows his times down. But the bike will, and has many times, gone low 10s. We have some runs with a big juice shot and cams well in the 9's. Post yourself riding, if you even own a bike, and I don't mean the pedal type either...lmao

  • A STOCK 109R WILL NOT RUN LOW 10s. PERIOD.

  • WRONG !With aircleaners, pipe, and a pcIII they will, numbnutz!

  • then that wouldnt be stock would it?

  • Flat out a M109R will not even come close to a 10 second pass without anything less then a miracle. Sorry. Maybe a heavily modded M109R could scoot the 1/4 in the 10's maybe faster but not even close to stock. Stock M109's only run the 1/4 in the low to mid 12's. Ask me how I know. M109's are an awesome bike for sure but not a 10 second beast

  • one sounded modified to me, the other might have been stock

  • Sweet Ride! Is this stock or modified?

  • Cool M109R. What was the top speed for the 11.8 sec run? What mods / pipes are you running, cos it sounds wicked ?!!

  • Nice vid Dad!! Love, Shannon
