he ran for longer endurance, the more you run doesn't necessarily make you faster but make you run longer when youre out there, 48 minutes of basketball is harsh for a big guy like dwight
Being in the USA basketball team would actually make these players better. Look at all these training camps and olympic games. Not to mention from learning from the other guys in the team like Jason Kidd and Kobe bryant.
