  • damn dude thats a pretty nasty stang im thinking of getting them cams now i already have mu slp lm1 cat back with a mac o/r prochamber on the way after i get the cams im getting a steeda tri ax shifter

  • @beatinbass Thanks man, but this is the old set up. I have the LT headers going to an off road X pipe now. Much more aggressive than in this video. I'll have to post a vid soon of it.

  • I am curious as to how replacing valve springs resolves the PTV clearance issues on these cars. Usually you have to flycut the pistons. 3 things, Could you explain this, what springs did you use, and what LSA is the cam?

  • thats the 274's at .580/.580? Sounds great! Any piston to valve clearance issues? I am still undecided on the stage 1 or 2. Already have supporting mods but given its a cruiser more then a racer.... Bah I donno! Sounds great!

  • @ThePLANEfxr Yes it is, no PTV issues because I replaced the valve springs. Got a new setup with headers that I have not uploaded, but will soon. Thanks!

  • These the .580/.580? or the .550/.550?

  • @MikeJonesStang .580's with new valve springs

  • @Engine201 Where did you get these cams?! PM me. I love the lope it sounds so sick. But can you just pm me everything i need for cams? I know of cams and springs but thanks man. Sick sounding GT!

  • @A4Eaton Thanks! Check your PM

  • Im lookin to put stage 2 cams on mine but shuld i go with 3.73 or 4.10?

  • @Mr2003stang It's completely up to you. I have 4.10's and it gets up to speed very quick. 3.73 is probably more popular, but 4.10's get you up to speed much faster

  • @Engine201 I want some 4.10's too but I always keep fighting myself with those and 3.73's because you get up to speed quick with 4.10's but you also run out of speed quick too LOL. specially up you are on a 5 speed and boosted. 6 speed... yeah 4.10's all day

  • It was 3600 from summit 402hp 378tq there is a walk around of the car under supercharged mustang on 10psi

  • Correction mustang GT on 10 psi

  • Have u run it at a track with this set up? I got a 99 with V1 Strim with 10psi I'm still workn on it though it's under 99 GT on 10psi

  • @Stangnit I have not ran it yet, maybe after all the mods. I'll have to check out your videos

  • Sounds damn good been thinking about them my self

  • @Stangnit Thanks, getting ready to put Trick Flow Twisted wedge heads on, I'll have another video up of that when I finish

  • What kind of midpipe do you have?

  • @33demain BBK catted X

  • so is this vid just with exhaust and cams?

  • @TEXASx2000xMUSTANG Exhaust, Cams, Stock heads and headers, CAI

  • @Engine201 damn, sounds amazing! where did you order your cams from? jw

  • @TEXASx2000xMUSTANG Thanks man. They are Trick Flow stage 2 cams ordered through Summit Racing. I have another video of it with some drive bys. Ill send it to you in a message so you can check it out

  • @Engine201 ok cool, thanks a lot!

  • What head mods did u make?

  • @TheRamHemi Stock heads for now

  • Is there a sound difference between installing the cams straight up or on the degree?

  • @SuperMustang2004 Honestly, I do not know, I doubt it though

  • how is the gas mileage with those?

  • @BeastGT87 Not sure the exact number but believe it or not, it's pretty damn good. Until I put the turbo or supercharger on it! lol

  • @Engine201 just wondering is this Loudmouth I or II and is it a catback? lookin to get the same set up

  • @thedudewhorocksalot LM1, LM2 is quiet and they are welded in SLP's with all stock piping.

  • how did you install the cams>degree or straight up

  • @mustangman533 the cams were installed on the degree, didn't have any PTV clearance issues

  • hey i just bought SLP LM1 catback for mine with no cats and x pipe and steeda hi flow..just wondering what cams you running? i ahve trick flow stage 1 on mine

  • @fairtexfighter I have the Trick Flow Stage 2 cams which the Duration is 275/275, and the Lift is .580/.580. Hits much harder than the Stage 1 cams

  • @Engine201 i got some flowmaster 1 chambers on my 98 and i been thinking about switching to some slp's

  • @JoshW23 I used to have the flowmasters on. If you click on my profile, you can listen to the exhaust when I had the flows. I thought I loved flowmaster until I got the SLP's..Now I LOVE the SLP's! The only thing with mine was the installation. The flowmasters are offset mufflers and the SLP's were straight in and straight out so I had to do some pipe bending and what not since I did not buy the catback system. Just cut off the flows and welded in the SLP's
