  • What is the top clear made out of and what is it. Please let me know

  • hey buddy i was wonding what exact type of metal you used around the edges of your rail

  • how much did all of this cost?

  • you could do that... or you could nail 3 boards together and rub down with Irish Spring soap...

  • looks so nice.

  • i have acrylic on the top of mine. should i wax it, or will water and snow work good?

  • @alex313313 it works good but it will crack around the edges.. i dont recomend tail or nose slides on acrylic..

  • where can you get the plastic sheet that goes on top?

  • @frenchys95 people are saying window stores. i go mine at a surplus store. home depot also sells it

  • wat did u use for the top and where did u get it

  • Asian's there smart and they love WIRE :DDDDD

  • where do you buy it from

  • Sick

  • damn thats legit

  • nice, i like

  • thanks for comments. making jib or what ever item .

so fun to make them . doesn`t matter size or looks.

the point is process of build own item . so fun to thinking & making

  • thats sweet but i think longer would be better

  • its a bench so no

  • she said that

  • lol this guys from like hawaii or somethin. he types his words really weird. its funny

  • looks so pro but fucking short

  • use LEXAN its expensive but it will last a long time. thats what terrain parks use(mostly)

  • They use HDPE plastic Dumb ass

  • wack!!! 1st of all its only a liite longer than a snowboard. sencond set ur coping the same height as ur sliding surface

  • MANDALS!!! REALLY?

  • did u just bend a solid piece of round bar fer the coaping?

  • @JTJG94 no he used round bar then like a c connector welded them and smoothed it i think

  • ya, cause thats what i think i m gonna do, then build everything around the steel

  • how much did this cost you, cause im thinkin' of making one for the winter

  • how much does the acrylic cost? im thinking about making one, not like this more of a week project? whats the best surface and the best coping?

  • Comment removed

  • has anyone had success with using pvc for the surface? or does it shatter in the cold?

  • lot of people & ski resort useing pvc for surface. pvc is softer then acrylic so easy

to get scratch but good slide. acrylic is

harder i think it`s best but if box dosen`t

have coping or any space between base

get crack when u jump on it. glue it

  • @wireclothing does it scratch ur board or the rail

  • i have make several rails with abs tubing i tried pvc but it will crack, found that out the hard way. Once you have amde one rail you can try many designs such as up rail, urban rail and kinks.

  • @bcarl10101 I've used PVC, It's slippery, but it works great for a skinny jib.

  • whats this about we get wire-products for sendin in out vids???

  • check localsnow film2009 vid

  • how much did that cost to makd

  • about $60

  • that looks fucking sick.

  • do u sponsor americans???

  • dude i hope he does..

  • ok, i need help pleeease!! I made my summer setup. Got the astro turf on a hill and a box at the bottom. I used a sheet of Lexan to go ontop of the box. now what do you put ontop of the box to make you slide? greece? water? what???

  • snow gel on the hill might help

  • stearine.. from candles

  • just water ,works good

  • FAIL i did wen i attempted

  • That's actually really cool

  • Why has your site chinese letters? xD

  • here is Japan!!!!!

  • Mkeey

  • fucki acryllic, that shit broke in 3 weeks for us

  • ur box has no coping.that`s why it broke.

  • doesent PVC pipe work as a rail or no

  • u can use pvc for coping.

  • it works but you have to use the strongest kind or it will break.

  • where is 4 of 4 video???

  • check making own jib after edit 4/4

  • thats REALLY nice, to bad I dont have access to welding :D

Im going to make a box with HDPE i think

  • r u selling that

  • HDPE works the best as a top sheet, but tough to find, and can get pricey, around 50-75 bucks for 2 8'x15" boxes

  • way more legit than my set up haha i used 2x4s to make the frame and masonite with pvc coping, i have a 10ft flat and a 16ft a frame. this is fucking nice though, how much were the the materials?

  • does plexiglass work for the top? anyone please answer

  • that is same thing with acrylic, you can use it

  • My experience has been that plexi tends to shatter and crack when you down onto it with your board

  • thats too bad... i was maybe gonna use it as a topsheet for my rail :P

  • wtf, the coping is supposed to be higher then the top sheet!

  • how much did that cost u to make.

  • where do i get acrylic board????

  • u can find it at homedepot or rona

  • Do you make them for people?

cuz that looks pretty well done, i would love one for the winter days in my backyard!

  • where could i get the acrylic board for cheap

  • at window company ,call every windowcompany on townpage,i think they have used board,

  • do u think i could make a box frame out of wood then screw the acrylic board into the wood frame??

    write back

  • you can do it, that is more easy to make

  • i think you could

  • when ever i get around to building mine im going to use plastic adhesive to avoid using screws. real talk though that is such a quality jib for it being portable.

  • what is acrylic board ?

  • plastic has many tipe, acrylic is one of plastic. acrylic board is harder then other

plastic. good slide. many box at ski resort

    useing this acrylic.

  • do you slide well on plastic ?

  • check 4/4 making own jib. ok slide

  • So uh, acrylic board? No plexi or plastic?

  • acrylic board is better,

  • How did you cut the acrylic(?)

  • i use disk grinder and teble saw

  • so wherem did you get the plastic and how much was it

  • i bought this acrylic board from window company,so cheap!! $10each

u can get acrylic board at homedepot

  • your weard dude

  • how much was the plastic? and were can i but it?

  • i`m not sure price,around $40 i think,

you can find it at homedepot,

i bought this plastic from window company,

    so cheap!!

  • so im thinking of doing a 10 ft replica of this if you have any other helpful tips or instructions it would be greatly appreciated

  • check new vid "making own jib after edit"

    i put some advice,

    my coping is 1.11/16in pipe,kind a heavy

I recommend 1.1/4pipe, and use square pipe

    or 90degree steel for legs,

    more easy to make

  • what's the point of having coping if the plastic is higher than it? you're just going to catch as much edges than you would if there wasn't coping at all

  • for smooth slide and spin, this is box, not

rail, top sheet is put on plywood, it`s bend

when u jump on it, if it`s same level with coping easy to catch edge, not smooth, check

box next winter at Terrain Park, almost box

has higher top sheet, if it not,u try it,

    is bad feeling,

  • but if the plastic is higher than the coping your board won't touch the coping at all unless you're sliding the siding off the side of the box. most boxes i've seen/ridden the coping is even or slightly higer than the plastic. my friend owns a buisness making jibs for most the terrain parks in Atlantic canada and his are even with the plastic, rides fine. edges won't catch hard metal coping as easily as softer plastic

  • really , last few day i always thinking,

i know if it`s same level, that`s better,

but there is not difference feeling,

    my topsheet has planed edge,

    but this not conclusion,

most boxes i've seen coping is lower,

last few season i was wanted to make own box,

so i checked many boxes, then find this,

but now... well i `m going to fix legs of box

so try to put topsheet as same level as coping,

  • if u catch an edge at the beginning of a box ur a noob anyways

  • i`m talking instructions,not snowboard skill,

  • no i no im saying in general if any catches at edge on a box they are noobish

  • hey just a question how much did the build cost all together?? because im looking at making one of these in welding class for bonus marks :):) plz reply

  • about $50 in japan ,

i think almost same in any country.

  • dude unreal, short, but unreal
