OK....So you survived to show us this video. But aren't you supposed to turn off all electronic equipment during take off and landing? Whether it's just a precautionary measure or not, you still put a lot of people's lives at risk for this dumb (literally) video, didn't ya?
obvious u never fly, putting people's live in risk? haha, not for a camera, only mobiles. u call my vid dumb? u shut up you indian bastard. i guess u are jaleous as you can not even pay a ticket to get on this plane !
You GO mikyboy26! I thought it was a great video!. Have you go anymore, of even different size planes? It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant some people like the stupid ass vinaytelugu can be. They take things so literally, that it scares me to know they share the same air as I do. When they say they may have turbulence in the air, I wonder what he thinks? BIG WAVES? WAR? FAMILY FIGHT? and MY luck, I would be unfortunate enough to be seated next to an imbicile like him. Keep up the good work!
so you choose his video to point that out, there is no proven way electronics can short out an aircraft LIKE THIS..even if the plane does somehow loose elcetronics and engines, they can still fly using the power of life, as shown buy Sully after landing his a320 on the hudson, even pilots take video of flights, its not a biggy
@vinaytelugu Actually no. Most electronics equipment is fine. The only things that really aren't are cellphones or other communications devices and they don't necessarily need to be turned off. You just shouldn't be trying to call or txt anyone. The main reason for this is because there's a chance it could interfere with the communications between the cockpit and the ATC. Each flight crew is different, but most of the time cameras and such are fine.
i prefer travelling by older planes coz i know they are safer. at first they thought Concrorde was safe but it turned out that itwasn't. I'll wait for a few years to make sure the A380 is safe enough! :)
@6ubidubi So the concorde flew for nearly 25 years and only crashed once and you say it wasn't safe? The crash was even caused by the engines picking up a titanium strip that fell off another plane and you say the Concorde wasn't safe? Really I'd like to call you a moron, but I think I'd be insulting all the morons.
Neither of them exist yet and the 787 is not going to be bigger than the A380's. It is supposed to replace the 767, I think. Either way, it will be smaller than the 777's.
watching this vid nakes me so nervous, i am flying to melbourne in march to see my sisters and i hate flying!! going on the A380 with singapore airlines.
dollywasher, you have nothing to be nervouse about...really and truly. I have flown all over the place, and I know its hard to believe when you are afraid of flying like my wife once was, but you get to where you actually enjoy it, and it is great fun. Gives you a chance to appreciate mans achievement in building such a monstrous aircraft that gets off the ground, and STAYS off the ground, and, it gives you a chance to see Gods creation, earth, from the air. Relax, and have FUN. Im jealous! :(
it is not an ugly aircraft, it is a wonderful large aircraft. if your gonna travel with a carrier which has an a380 and they will use it for your flight don't even bother. just use some biplane.
@85511813086 A friend of mine told me that A380s make very soft take offs so you don't feel almost the take off. In the opposite, they do hard landings, with a lot of wobble. He continued telling me that this is probably due to short runways or fresh new pilots who don't know the new airbus tricks in order to soft land it too.
i personally think that its way to early to call that one. I think the 747 has an incredible safety record, and that most likely over 70 percent of all accidents were caused by someone in the tower not paying attention. Both planes are magnificent, but lets wait a little while longer before we say its safer.
77A upperdeck Economy Class. If you fly, prebooke your seat in upperdeck, the best as you got 2 seats on the side wall. Some rows doesn't have a window !
what seat?

Lower Deck? You should take upper deck...EY Upper deck....you feel like you're on J(business) class....
