All I know is that a contra-rotating helicopter is much, much faster and more maneuverable than a conventional helicopter... something to do with energy gained from the absence of a tail rotor
@mrskyking737 Coaxial helicopters (real ones) are faster , can rotate quickly in any direction in most of the speed range and are much more inmune to side winds .. they have higher lifting capacity and they dont have the risk of tail rotor strikes or failures

ive been looking for a good ka50/52 RC =D and i would guess its easyer to fly than most with the contra rotors
