in the beginning? I dont think those are air dashes (Skystar) but more like Air just release. It's royal guard style and it does that after doing a parry/royal block a few times.

Royal Release, it's a Royal Guard move. But your timing with the enemy attck must be fucking accurate, also you should build up the RG energy by blocking enemy attacks, or the Royal Release will be useless.
