The only thing I would suggest, is to make the hi-hat groove sound a little more funk-ish, like putting in a few more hi-hat barks, but it sounds good.

I'm new to drums. So why do you have so many cymbals? Are they all different sounding? Or is it just for convenience?

Yeah They all sound different. It is convenient to have more,but not that much easier. It can be more difficult, because a drummer has more sounds to think about. I just got tired of hitting two crashes One hi-hat and a ride, It got boring. No one has to have as many as I have to have a good set tho. Most of the time smaller is better.

You've got the part for sure. I would agree that you need to lay the beat back a fair amount. Currently you are playing the metronome part and the big feel to this is to lay the beat back behind the actual part. Currently you appear to be playing more like a metal / rock drummer than a groove drummer if you understand what I mean.

And actually it's easiest to see at the fills - you currently lay them back to try to kick back in the feel of the track but in fact the fills can be straight - it's the kick / snare / hats that you have to lay back, particularly the snare of course.
