@BlackBerry i have updated my curve 8520 using the same method. But now my device is starting to lag. the trackpad freezes and i cannot receive a call unless hitting mute button for 5 secs because green button does not work otherwise.

i am planning to dump my device as no one at blackberry seems to helping me out. I have tried twitter also. there are no additional apps running on background.

Any suggestions!!

@perezraoul17 You download "blackberry Desktop Manager" and add music from tehre.. it just scans your itunes library and puts all the music in, and u sync. You use it like you would use itunes for ur blackberry :) i just got one too lol

I did this procedure and at the end before I hit finish it says:

"Once complete you must activate your device wirelessly to continue to send and receive email messages and use other blackberry services."

What does that mean???

I hit cancel because I didn't want to take the chance of something not working after.
