i have watched this show from the beginning and now that i have i have to keep watching it, but its honestly starting to annoy me. I watched the spring premiere on monday and i think 98 percent of the show was about sex. the show is supposed to highlight what teens go through today but it is so unrealistic. they talk about sex like they talk about anything else. when grace and her bf and mom were talking. i was like are u kidding me this is so stupid. no parent acts like that.

I don't think they mean to be offensive or "play up" down syndrome. They're trying to show that people with down syndrome can pretty much live a typical life but at the same time show that they sometimes have trouble being "normal". Generally people with down sydrome act younger then they are because mentally they develop slower(hence retardation). Tom on Secret Life says silly things because thats his personality
