  • aww fuck...i was sorta okay with the upper body ftw. but you have to have a lot of fucking faith in those bands... Can you enlighten us scott herman as to the structural integrity of resistance bands and if some are built better than others?

  • Terrell owens uses them and no homo but he cut up for a old guy but he just uses them for arms he lifts weights on his legs I don't use bands the wide outs at my school do but me and the other QB's and running backs don't

  • @jummacob In the video he's using the Lifeline USA TNT Special Triple Resistance Cable. He has one handle removed. It's the best resistance band system on the market. I have it and love it.

  • this is great, but i wish you had one where you just did all the exercises for the 30 or 60 seconds so that i could just follow along and then i would be done. i need the motivation of following along with someone. anyway, thanks for the vid. the shuffles made me laugh, but in a good way.

    It's the parents' job to teach their children what is good or bad, and It's not Scott's job to lecture anyone about their personal decisions. How is it that you don't get that?

    The biggest problem with your initial post was that you had the audacity to accuse Scott of taking steroids. Your "evidence" being that me must be taking them because he isn't talking about them. Are you kidding?

    Lastly, kids are not stupid. They know about steroids.

  • @charlrogers1990 Do you have any reasoning skills or even a remote concept of rational thought? Scott isn't making anti-drug videos, he is making exercise videos. Also, I have never heard Scott talk about the dangers of joining a street gang but I doubt he belongs to one.

    Maybe if you "reckon" less and think more you would post comments that didn't make you sound like a complete fool.

  • lol I gym with students who are bigger and more lean/toned than scott. they definitely don't take steroids, and can barely afford protein. scott is much to small for me to even consider him maybe taking steroids. a good diet, good metabolism with good resistance/weight training will easily get you as big as scott.

  • @charlrogers1990 I cant see any marks on his arms indicationg steroid usage via a needle, unless he takes tablet/pill steroids. To be honest he looks to 'ripped' to be on steroids. Most steroid users are just 'bulky' and have the muscle mass, however they lack definition. I guess we will only find out if Scott makes a video, like you said.

  • There are some exercises you do in a public gym. and some that you do in the privacy of your home or a personal training only gym. These exercises are the latter.

  • Scott do you have, or can you do a video to specifically target the upper/inner chest? My gym does not have an incline bench, but we do have cables and DBs. I know you've incorporated the upper in some other videos- but I'm looking for a super specific one to really hit and burn out the upper chest, like right up to the collar bones and all the way in. What do you think?

  • @rwkibbee Incline Fly will do upper/inner chest. Any way you can replicate that with cables, go for it. I can't imagine a gym not having an incline/adjustable bench, what kind of gym doesn't have one of those?! Use a piece of plywood, lean it against something, use dumbbells. Problem solved!

  • @lordofultima . I just meant we don't have an incline bench press with a barbell, only adjustable benches with DBs. I do those exercises already and they do work- I was just wondering if Scott had any tricks up his sleeves (if he ever wore a shirt) for unconventional workouts/tricks to really isolate those muscles. Most upper chest movements incorporate so much shoulders.

  • @rwkibbee That's true. Hard to find a true isolation exercise for a specific portion of the chest, though.

  • Scott, im trying to bulk up my legs for rugby, i have long skinny legs :-/. Would you recommend light weight-many reps, instead of heavy weight-little reps? Or something else? thanks:)

  • @cRazyBassBiTch yea, i dont have a fix spot on the field yet, but im usually inside centre or left flank or left wing

  • @leveler09 ah fair, so either way, your going to be really explosive, have a lot of pace and power, umm try workouts like this, using resistance bands, also to build mass, i built quite a bit of mass by doing about 4-6 weeks of strength training, then just did explosive conditioning, and every now and then doing a 2 week strength training regime, but most important is nutrition and rest, I.E dont to a massive workout the night before a match, but i guess you would have worked that out yourself

  • that looked pretty intense :) i think the jumps would give me the most trouble ..... how would i avoid falling back after the jump ... lean forward or something?
