no. you must have custom firmware.

but you can get a pandora battery kit

on amazon for £14 and there are tons of guides which tell you how to install custom firmware once you have it.

no you can't. it needs custom firmware. u can't get it now because your firware is too high. Any official firmware above 5.00 can't have cfw. or so that's how technology has made it so far.

Just watch some videos on how to make a pandora battery then on how to make a majic memory stick then when you have all that have that put the majic memory stick in the PSP then hold R and put in the pandora battery then it will start you off with custom firmware 3.71 M33-2 and it works with 5.50 I did it on 5.51 and my PSP is fine so I hope this helped and by the way I got a PSP slim

Hi! I have a problem and was wondering if anyone could help. I have the m33-6 firmware on my psp. I've putting my isos in both GAME/ISO and G:/ISO. When in the game directory the PSP shows my iso files as "Corrupted Data" and they simply don't show up at all when in the root ISO folder. I use UMDGen to create my isos. Am I doing something wrong? U need to go to recovery mode and go to the settings where it show Umd boot change that to iso boot or somthing like that google Iso's wont play on my hacked psp

ChickHen is more for for Homebrew games and emulators only, and it can't play iso's and cso's, while CTF can do what ChickHen does, and plays CSOs and ISOs

I really don't notice the difference between load times all that much.

When you rip the iso put the ISO into a program called "UMDGen 4.00" You can delete the update folder inside the umd from here, it makes the file smaller, plus when u go to write the new file, save it as a .CSO (its compressed) make the compression level 9. Then on the psp put it in the folder /ISO/ Not /PSP/ISO/, just /ISO/

get into recovery mode (hold r and turn on ur psp on) go to pulgins, and make sure it is enabled. I think it is in there, or it is somewhere in advanced, take a look around in there. Then you can do the select and change the USB device to UMD.

With PSX games you have to take that ISO, and convert it to an eboot.pbp. Use the program PSX2PSP 1.4.2 Also, popsloader emulates other firmwares playstation emulation because some games run better under different firmwares.

What game was it? Some games require popsloader which emulates different firmwares for running playstation games because some PSX games work better under different firmwares. Plus if you wanna make you own out of your own PSX games you can make an iso of ur disc, get the program PSX2PSP 1.4.2 and it will make an eboot.pbp for ya.

It's the same way, make sure you use the LEDA thing (view my video getting old homebrew to work) You might not have to use LEDA, but you might have to, but you should.

Try changing your UMD mode to the sony driver, u can be ion the XMB, just press select and change it there.
