similar problem once; I actually tried to break a guys arm who refused to submit twice, I was forced to let go by referee; the third time I decided to tweak the arm or break it; and couldn't... on closer video analysis I did not use my hips & legs enough and this guy had virgin arms (never been stretched significantly b4) so could hyperextend arm joint, unlike me, stretched many times) He would have been sore for months after but he didnt tap on the day......

and won silver since i met my teammate in the finals and he was higher ranked so i gave way.
so anyway in my 1st match i had a problem with fully breaking an arm into two with the regular armbar postion. i basically just hyperextended it and popped the arm once. he never tapped so i tried to finish till i cramped up and he was able to escape.
are there any tips you guys can give me for a full armbar break?
