Can hardly wait to buy McClellan's book. What a slap in the face to Fox, that Scott's first "prime-time" interview was with Keith Olbermann. I'll bet even "Darth" Cheney was watching... must have nearly killed him (too bad, only NEARLY, eh?) to have to watch MSNBC.
McClellan is just one more in the stream of corraborating evidence for the 'high crimes and misdemeanors' of this administration.
Paul O'Neil started it off and there will be more.
My favorite, though it is not evidence is Neil Young. His, "Let's Impeach the President" was for me an anthem, something it never became. The words list all the crimes. It has a catchy tune too.
It's an elaborate multi-faceted and corporate media driven con game. Mcclellan invested in it for the same reasons the American people invested in Bush's humble foreign policy run as president in 2000. This con game is done. Why has nothing big happened to these traitors yet?
545lljkr; "Sometimes I wonder if cons are living in their fantasy world."
No other explanation seems to fit, 545lljkr.
Example: The complete shock of the Republicans when they lost FOUR seats in a row formerly "owned" by the party to Democrats.
Don't these idiots pay attention to the polls, which almost universally say that the American voting public is totally disgusted with this administration and the Republicans?
Lack of donations and money should have been a clue, too.
Great Frank! I'm glad I cut cable TV off long ago. Out of curiosity I'd have flipped to Faux to see the rats come out of the walls.
IMHO..Hang a medal on Scott McLellan. I don't care if the guy makes some bucks off of the book.Yes, we all new this stuff before, but it's great to get a whistleblower from the source! Maybe, just maybe it'll wake up a few people & jolt a neocon or two back to reality.
Bottom line..Weather folks dislike McLellan or not, if your against Bush, support the guy.
Frank, I have my doubts about the motive of this book and the timing. Not because of the election but something else, yet to be seen. Bush knew about this book back in Nov. It was vetted by everyone in this administration (no national secrets ya know), so the whole outrage by the far right wing nuts, to me seems pretty much somekind of act, somethings up. But what?
Senator Dorgan (D-ND) has tried THREE times to establish a "Truman Commission" type of committee to investigate war profiteering in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. ALL the Democrats voted "YES" to Dorgan's proposal. ALL the Republicans except one voted "NO". Interesting, yes?
The Truman Commission saved or retrieved American taxpayers 15 BILLION dollars -- in 1940's dollars. The mind boggles at how much that would be today.
Right as usual Frank. When the so called main stream media is owned by major corporations, what do you expect to see but the corporate point of view. The media today are nothing but whores and shills for big business.
Agree 100% 545,thats why I don't watch anything but Obie, and Bill Moyers, and listen to the BBC News on shortwave.People probably don't realize that we lost more soldiers in Afghanastan last month than in Iraq, and that the Taliban is slowly re-taking the country back.
I didn't know that thing bout the taliban, what you just said makes me nervous, I think everything is slowly getting fucked. We're screwed, I think we should all pray for salvation. Hopefully the democrats will fix this up.
All I heard on the so called MSM about this was Jack Cafferty on CNN.The Taliban has re-taken nearly half the country back. The British have added more troops and my 2 son-inlaws were sent back there for a 4th time with part of the 82nd Airborne.
I do hope that this does make every American now question the MSM. Top journalists in the country were shoved out at the beginning of this administration when they questioned things too much. Just look at Dan Rather. He made one mistake in not checking a fact about Bush and he was shamed out of his job. Montel questioned the MSM live on why they weren't discussing our soldiers killed in Iraq.. canned. Propaganda by gov't controlled media. Must get media out of corporate hands.
Under both Regan and the Bush'sNeoconservative Republican leaderships, who's creed was Greed and Supply-side Economics, the administrations legislated tax breaks for corporations and the Elitist top1% of Americans at the expense of the other 99%. History will not look well upon these people because you Nazi, right wing, nut cases. Historians are LIBERAL:) Maniacal laughter erupts....One-
McClellan just doesn't want to go down as playing a role in the disaster for America and its People. While the rest of us are in a recession, losing jobs and homes at the fastest rate in history other than the Great Depression and don't worry Bush wants to break that record too.
@madmankitchen care to join al qaeda and blow yourself up along with your anti-american propaganda?

It is also surprising that some people buy this "liberal media" fairy tale. Sometimes I wonder if cons are living in their fantasy world.

Thing is, these people are completely out of touch of reality because they read the bible instead of the constitution.

That, plus the fact that they only talk to each other.
Their World seems to be very closed.

Lots of luck trying to suppress THIS one, Righties!

I actually think Jon Stewart summed it up best...
Paraphrasing: "all these administration officials saying thats not the Scott McClellan we knew; the Scott McClellan we knew lied through his teeth"
