I have to say I like Walt Disney World much better, only because I grew up with it. Even if I didn't though, I'd probably pick Disney World. That's just my opinion.
I say Disneyland because my friend said that Disneyworld has naste food, Plus Disneyland is bigger than Disneyworld and my mom said she wants to go to the big one in florida, Which is Disneyland, My mom said we might have enough money to go when im 12, I'm nine right now. But i will be big enough to go on the rides.
Disney world is better for me I just like the stage setting better cause it actually has a better stage than disneyland but I like Disney lands new dragon and the dance that Mickey does in the end
This video isn't even really up to date, so you really can't truly compare both productions. Disneyland's version of Fantasmic! has just gotten a brand new dragon, crocodile, HD mist screen projections, HD sound system, more pyrotechnic effects, more laser effects, and a new Ursula sequence with Flotsam and Jetsam set pieces, so you truly can't compare the two shows. If you asked me which production I'd prefer, hands down it would be Disneyland's, because of the quality of the show. Just sayin

Both DL and WDW should not be compared because both are vastly different. If you think one is better than the other, then you are not a real Disney fan. I love them both, but I do think that Disneyland's has a little extra magic. The fact that you can explore the island by day, and then watching the lights go out in the park when the show starts is just amazing. Also-I saw the CA version before I saw the WDW version (3 years later) so that may have something to do with it.
i prefer disneylands because the stage is very naturall i mean you can sail over the lake during the day but in the night theres magic on tom sawyers island people ,. and in wdw theres a theater made for the show while in disneyland its part of an atracttion i already saw both but i still prefer disneylands i mean peter pan flying over the ship its incredible!!!anyway both shows are mostly the same but nothing like the originall

@celosams First, you should learn how to spell correctly. Second, you need to pay your respects to Disneyland, that's where it all started. Without the original there would be no Disney World. In a way, Disneyland was left untouched after Walt died, you can actually feel the historical aspects of Disneyland. Disney World feels like a vacation, Disneyland also feels like a vacation, but there's a little something more than that, there's a feel of warmth, almost like leaving the outside world.
Disney World was created because Disney wanted to achieve his dream. Once businesses started building up around Disneyland he knew WDW had to be built.
But yeah, its pointless arguing over which is best, they're both unique.
Why are you fighting over Walt's creations? Walt Disney himself did plan and buy land for WDW. Sadly, he wasn't there to see it. But even though he wasn't there, it doesn't mean it has less magic. WELL!! I think WDW is better. DL's kinda went off on non-important scenes, then come back to the show. DL was kinda corny at some points and had some second rate effects, even though a few was better than WDW. But Florida's stayed on point and more powerful, with more effects, expt the dragon. JUst seem the WDW was little more graceful and more put together. But i am from Florida tho!! LOL
Remember guys, Walt Disney made this all possible. Disneyland was the original, which inspired four more to be created around the world. They say that Francisco Gabilondo, a mexican child music player and writer. had the idea but didnt have the money to create such an amusement park. @brucelee900 You are sadly mistaken. Walt did not create WDW because not everyone lived in Anaheim. He created it because he wanted to make a bigger version of his vision. Disneyland didn't have enough room so he created a new park in a different location.
The parks shouldn't be compared like this. Both are magical, both were dreamt up by Walt himself and both hold wonderful experiences for anyone who visits.

Wow Disney world is pretty different.,. I grew up with the Disneyland version and remember when it first opened so it's definitely weird to see it different! :) I just feel that the other parts aren't as exciting or fit as well as the disneyland parts do, but I haven't seen it in person so I can't really say I guess!
I think both are great but I'm gonna have to go with WDW with this one. For one, the ampitheater was built for the show and thus made the setting of the show alot better and it can fit alot more people than its California counterpart a. Another thing is the Jafar Snake lol I love that part. And Lastly the finaly, I love how the use the Steamboat WIllie boat and have all the characters through out the years on it, it really shows Disney's history and how far they have come.
There both grate, there were cirtain parts that made one better from the other like i like how disney land had more on the pink elaphant parade and pinocio and walt disney world had more villans and im like the more the better. overall there both worth watching

So the land was Walt's and was starting to get designed. I didn't mean the Walt planned the whole thing, he just planned on having parks be made in Florida, and be named Walt Disney world. Roy just kept Walt's dream going. Roy died last December. So really WDW

I love them both, but I do think that Disneyland's has a little extra magic. The fact that you can explore the island by day, and then watching the lights go out in the park when the show starts is just amazing. Also-I saw the CA version before I saw the WDW version (3 years later) so that may have something to do with it.

i prefer disneylands because the stage is very naturall i mean you can sail over the lake during the day but in the night theres magic on tom sawyers island people ,. and in wdw theres a theater made for the show while in disneyland its part of an atracttion i already saw both but i still prefer disneylands i mean peter pan flying over the ship its incredible!!!anyway both shows are mostly the same but nothing like the originall

@celosams First, you should learn how to spell correctly. Second, you need to pay your respects to Disneyland, that's where it all started. Without the original there would be no Disney World. In a way, Disneyland was left untouched after Walt died, you can actually feel the historical aspects of Disneyland. Disney World feels like a vacation, Disneyland also feels like a vacation, but there's a little something more than that, there's a feel of warmth, almost like leaving the outside world.

Why are you fighting over Walt's creations? Walt Disney himself did plan and buy land for WDW. Sadly, he wasn't there to see it. But even though he wasn't there, it doesn't mean it has less magic. All parks are magical. Every park has one bit of Walt Disney in it that you can feel in the heart. And to see you guys fighting over what park is better? I think you aren't true fans of the amazing Walt Disney. Learn to love all parks, because they are extremely unique in their own way.

But it interests me that you say that Disneyland castmember uniforms are so ugly compared to WDW uniforms, considering that both of them utilize the same uniforms for majority of the attractions. Secondly, if you never been to Disneyland, how can you say you know you won't like it? Your comments clearly shows your immaturity. WELL!! I think WDW is better. DL's kinda went off on non-important scenes, then come back to the show. DL was kinda corny at some points and had some second rate effects, even though a few was better than WDW. But Florida's stayed on point and more powerful, with more effects, expt the dragon. JUst seem the WDW was little more graceful and more put together. But i am from Florida tho!! LOL

Remember guys, Walt Disney made this all possible. Disneyland was the original, which inspired four more to be created around the world. The man who spent his life creating that one park, practically created the others. Why are you guys fighting? @iDatAsianKid There is some rumors that Walt Disney wasnt the one with the idea. They say that Francisco Gabilondo, a mexican child music player and writer. had the idea but didnt have the money to create such an amusement park. Supposedly he immigrated to the U.S. to find some luck, then he met Walt Disney and thats the end of the story. All these maybe a lie i dont know but there is some resemblance in Gabilondo's biggest characters and Walt Disney's minor characters.

WDW has more thrills tho from rock-n-rollercoatser to expedition everest to tower of terror(yes i know its in disneyland too -.-)..

@Nailsdewed I worked for Disney world too and I'm sorry, but Disneyland is WAY better than WDW. Disneyland is always changing...upgrading! All I see at WDW is corporate people getting lazy and cutting corners everywhere. Why haven't they upgraded Fantasmic (like seriously overhauled it) like Disneyland has? Why haven't they had a NEW PARADE in Magic Kingdom since the early 1990s? They just change the music and call it a new parade! I like WDW...it has its strengths, but Disneyland rocks!

@small5th While I can't say one is better than the other because I've never been to DL, I can say that myself and my family absolutely LOVE Disney World and their FOUR theme parks and TWO water parks. I have cousins that live about 10 mins. away from DL and have season passes and they would much rather fly down to FL and spend their time at DW than DL.....

@brucelee900 You are sadly mistaken. Walt did not create WDW because not everyone lived in Anaheim. He created it because he wanted to make a bigger version of his vision. Disneyland didn't have enough room so he created a new park in a different location.
The parks shouldn't be compared like this. Both are magical, both were dreamt up by Walt himself and both hold wonderful experiences for anyone who visits.

If they make another World of Color platform at Disney World then that defeats the whole purpose of the show! Plus the show's platform costs $75,000,000... do you really think they'll duplicate it? 1st) saying the employees at certain parks are "nicer" is untrue. You have no right to even SAY something about the parks employees like that.
2nd) Walt dreamt up BOTH parks. BOTH were his vision and BOTH have his spirit. people from all over the world go to BOTH parks.

Wow Disney world is pretty different.,. I grew up with the Disneyland version and remember when it first opened so it's definitely weird to see it different! :) I just feel that the other parts aren't as exciting or fit as well as the disneyland parts do, but I haven't seen it in person so I can't really say I guess!

I think both are great but I'm gonna have to go with WDW with this one. For one, the ampitheater was built for the show and thus made the setting of the show alot better and it can fit alot more people than its California counterpart a. Another thing is the Jafar Snake lol I love that part. And Lastly the finaly, I love how the use the Steamboat WIllie boat and have all the characters through out the years on it, it really shows Disney's history and how far they have come.

There both grate, there were cirtain parts that made one better from the other like i like how disney land had more on the pink elaphant parade and pinocio and walt disney world had more villans and im like the more the better. overall there both worth watching

Like I love Disney World, I feel magic there, (never been to Disneyland, but I would like to go there to) and you love Disneyland. I personally would like to see all the Disneyland's in the world in my lifetime. I will probably feel magic in all of them somewhere.

@brucelee900 continued: Unfortunately he died shortly before construction was to begin, so yes you are correct that roy worked on those parks, but Walt was for the last 4 years of his life planning for the parks and was buying the land. So the land was Walt's and was starting to get designed. I didn't mean the Walt planned the whole thing, he just planned on having parks be made in Florida, and be named Walt Disney world. Roy just kept Walt's dream going. Roy died last December. So really WDW

@brucelee900 Actually, Walt Disney worked on the Walt disney world parks, He died before he could see the 4 parks finished. His brother who was his business partner on Disney worked on making the rest of walt Disney World become reality.

Personally, I like DL's better. They use more live action, and the effects are way cool. But both are still good! :)
