i found obsidian when i made knew world on surface... i spawned in middke of a huge lava pool on a piece of it... im like wtf... nhow do i get out lol (i have no mods somi cant spawn shit in 4 bridge lol

I just made like 100 obsidian! I was trying to put out the lava to make it safe, and the whole body of lava turned into obsidian :D Hellz Yeah

But if you put water in the lava, you have to bring more lava. I have my farm that i made. I have made a big hole with four wals ho is thre blocks...fat? And i put lava in one side and water in the other side. They will run into each other and make obsidian. It's thre blocks thik becus. 1. Water and lava will not run out from the vulcano. 2. Thats where i put the lava and water. 3. I put pistin and a block there. And i make a buton for the pistins. When i want to grab the obsid i pres buton.

And when i press the buton 2, the water will run on top of the lava and make obsidian. Do yu undrestand now?

@stuffywa You don't get the source block unless you use a diamond pickaxe. So you can't "mine" obsidian with anything but a diamond pickaxe because "mining" implies you GET something from it.

You can tame wolves with a fishing rod. You can pick up water with your hands. You can mine things with a pick axe in 2 seconds. It's not supposed to be realistic in the slightest.

Is this video really necessary? A three minute video isn't needed when the actual obsidian farming only takes about 30 seconds to explain, let alone actually do.

You put water ontop of a lava source and mine it after it cools into obsidian...Thats all...

I don't understand the point of making an obsidian farm. It would require so much work to get all those buckets of lava above ground (whether it is a bunch of buckets or a bunch of trips). I found that it is much easier to have running water while you mine the obsidian below ground and at the source.

i have got infinite lava and water so infinite obsidian as i made my house under the sea and then mined till i found lava and now when i take it it doesn't go or run out so then just put it on water and duh duh infinite obsidian
