No, actually HT always uses MT fire service. The only thing that was upgraded is the chimes. They used to be low pitched. The reason why the door is very weak is because Schindler always used that door operator for there elevators in 2001.
I haven't seen some the the MT fire service on a HT. I may film some HT and check. I remember when the chimes were low pitched. There's some Schindler 330A's here in Little Rock that still uses the low pitch chime.
I'm aware there's a timing aspect, but on this elevator, it seems to only go off when the door is nearly closed. I figured that out, because I held it open for different amounts of time, and the result was the same. On a normal elevator, it would go off at a set time. Not this one.
Pretty familiar with it. Not in person, but watching the videos. I never really had to holddoors open long, excep the Chronicle shoot in the garage, but those don't have it.
Interesting to see the MT button as the call cancel button with the HT fixtures.

From what I understand, this was upgraded. Seems to make sense.

I've only seen those here in YouTube-land, not in person. I guess this WAS one of those at some point in time.

Louder in person.
With a good bass setup, you can hear it's getting a tad low on hydraulic oil as well.
