hey can you please reply to me on this. I want to buy one one of these, but i want to know if it is good for PRODUCING music. I dont do anything live. I just produce. So would I be able to do this with the launchpad?

@IIMuseDubstep Of course you can produce, you should watch the video of Thavius Beck on the Novation Tv channel, there he explains how he feels more comfortable and fiud producing with the Launchpad, that video kinda sold me up because i was wondering the same thing. Cheers!

Nicely done @chumyfu intonation is relative. Listen to some Balinese gamelan and you will understand. Their musical scale is divided into 5 or 7 tones. To the western ear it sounds "out of tune" but it's music to their ears!

i agree, terrible song. parts of the chords do not go with the bass at all (not even close to being in the same key!!!). who am i kidding, nothing goes with bass like that.

however i will chalk it up to this being a demo video for the product, and not an actual demonstration of an actual performance.

Why didn't you set it up to send midi back to the Launch Pad? The lights don't light up when you record midi notes? It's an easy fix with Ableton but seems like it should be standard in a box if this sort.
